Chapter 6 - No One But Him

Dimitri paced in his office like a caged animal.

The scent of perfume lingered in the air ---from yet another omega who had tried to offer herself to him tonight.

He hadn't even lasted five minutes before walking out.

''To sweet.''

''Too fake.''

''Not him.''

He hated this. His skin felt tight. Every nerve burned. His rut was close ---- creeping up like a wave he couldn't stop.

He knew what he needed. And he hated how clear it was.

Lev.

His mind hadn't stopped flashing back to that night ---- not for three years.

That soft gasp when Lev's lips parted... The way his skin tasted under dim red lights. Who he trembled, and skin begged for more. Dimitri slammed his fist on the table. ''fuck.''

Later that night.... The club was dim. Music pulsed in the background, but Dimitri sat alone in the VIP Louge, drink untouched, jaw tight.

He was on edged.

And when he was edge, he made a plan. He pulled out his phone and typed out a massage--one that wasn't a request.

''Tomorrow. Midnight. You. My office.'' ''Or should I drop by and say hello to your little boy myself''

He started at the words.

One click.

Sent.

Dimitri leaned back in chair. letting the tension settle. He wasn't going to beg. He was going to take.

''Dimitri tells his right- hand man to dig up information on Lev.''

-------------------------------------------------------------

The msg sat on Lev screen like a silent threat. His chest tightened. His fingers trembled around the phone.

Lev stood still in the small kitchen, heart pounding in his ears. In the living room, little Matev was playing with crayons, humming to himself, completely unaware.

Lev's finger shook as he hit send one the message to his mother. ''Can you keep Matev for a few days? Something came up. It's important.''

11:47 pm--- Dimitri's private office, top floor of his club.

The elevator ride felt like a lifetime. Lev adjusted his hoodie, hopping he looked normal. Calm. But inside, everything was on fire.

He knocked.

No answer.

He pushed the door open --- and there he was.

Dimitri.

Leaning against his desk, sleeves rolled up, shirt half unbutton, jaw tight. Ke looked.... dangerous.

''Right on time,'' Dimitri said, eyes scanning him like a wolf watching his prey. Lev closed the door behind him. ''You said it was urgent.''

Dimitri tilted head.

Lev stood still, avoiding his gaze. ''What do you want?''

Dimitri didn't answer immediately. Instead, he slowly steppes forward--letting Lev feel the scent of his rut thick and sharp in the air like smoke before a storm. ''You came,'' Dimitri said softly. ''That means you remember that night.''

Lev stomach flipped.

''That night was mistake,'' he said quickly.

Dimitri smirked. ''You moaned like it wasn't.''

Lev flushed, fists clenching. ''Why am I here, Dimitri.''

A pause.

Then, in a darker voice.

''Because you're the only omega I can think about right now. And I'm in rut.''

Lev froze. ''Thats not my problem.''

''But it is.'' Dimitri stepped closer. ''Because you're the one who made this worse.''

''How?'' Lev snapped.

Dimitri's voice dropped. ''You gave me one taste. And you disappeared.''

Lev heart hammered. It was mistake because am drank.''

Dimitri leaned close ''Where is your little boy.''

Lev leg trembling. ''Why am telling you.''

Am know you hiding something.

Lev didn't answer.

Dimitri raised an eyebrow. Then without warning ---- he reached out, gripping Lev jaw gently but firmly. ''You've been avoiding me like I'm dangerous,'' he murmured. ''But you came running when I called.''

Lev heated it---- how is body reacted. Heat spread low in his belly, hips shifting almost instinctively.

''You want this,'' Dimitri said softly, lips inches from his. ''Don't lie.''

''I want you to back off.''

''You want me to pin you down and remind you what you begged for that night.''

Lev gasped as Dimitri backed him into the wall--- ''I can smell it,'' Dimitri whispered, nose brushing against Lev's neck. ''You're aching for it.''

And Lev?

He couldn't deny it anymore.

Clothes hit the floor fast. Breathless kisses. Rough touches. Dimitri's hands on his thighs, waist, everywhere. ''Tell me who you belong to,'' he growled.

Lev's head fell back. ''No one---''

Wrong answer. Dimitri spun him, pressed him against the desk, lips at his ear. ''I'll remind you, then.''

And he did.

Again.

And again.

Unti Lev was crying out his name--- nails dragging down Dimitri's back, body trembling from the overload.

later, Lev lay across the couch, bare chest rising and falling.

Dimitri stood near the window, sipping a drink, shirtless, muscles tense. Neither spoke for a while. Finally, Dimitri said, voice softer now.

''You're hiding something.''

Lev didn't move. Didn't breathe.

''I''ll find out what it is,'' Dimitri added. ''And when I.....'' silence.

His eyes flicked over Lev's body--marked, breathless, and ruined.

''You better pray I'm feeling merciful.'' ...................

.....''Is it really over....or is something just starting?''.......
