This was Jiang Zhe's second venture into the Wildlands.

Unlike last time, he was on his own—no family escorts, no protection.

But Jiang Zhe wasn't worried. He had full confidence in his own strength.

"My spiritual power is nearly at the ninth tier of apprentice-level Spiritual Mentors. On Earth, unless it's someone like Hong, Thor, or East making a move, no one can kill me."

"Even if I were hunted by a Parliamentary-level opponent, my flight speed should still give me a slight edge."

"If I really wanted to play it safe, I could just borrow Luo Feng's groundhog trick—dig into the rock layer and hide underground. As that guy Cartland said: 'To capture a high-level Spiritual Mentor underground, even a being stronger than a War God wouldn't dare say it's easy.'"

"With a double gene level, my spiritual strength is only slightly weaker than Luo Feng's when he first entered Mist Island."

---

Jiang Zhe ventured through the northeastern forests, slaying the Crimson-Crested Python King…

He crossed the Great Xing'an Mountains, wrestling with the Bear Lord and Tiger King…

He hunted down a herd of deer led by a Lord-level beast in the depths of the Changbai Mountains…

He streaked across the vast grasslands, culling entire wolf packs...

---

Every few days, Jiang Zhe would visit a nearby military base to deliver batches of Lord-level monster materials to the family business. And yes—he got paid for them.

Even though it was his family's own company, business was business. Transactions were kept professional, though the purchase price was only 60% of market value.

Still, hundreds of billions in funds were deposited directly into Jiang Zhe's allowance card, to the point where he had completely lost all concept of "money."

24 beasts.

…29 beasts.

…35 beasts.

…42 beasts.

Jiang Zhe silently counted each Lord-level monster that fell by his hands.

Every time he thought about it, he felt a surge of emotion.

"They're not truly gone. They've transformed into wealth, into energy orbs, continuing to support me... They're the very foundation of my breakthrough to a triple gene level."

"In the vast universe, if crossing tiers to kill stronger foes could directly boost one's gene multiplier... the geniuses among the Domain Lords and Undyings would probably go crazy with excitement."

"After all, those who can slay Undying-level beings as a Domain Lord aren't exactly rare. And crossing tiers like that... one kill might yield enough gene energy to evolve drastically."

As he measured the progress of condensing his third star, Jiang Zhe gradually recognized a pattern:

"The bigger the difference in power levels during battle, the greater the reward. Even small gaps, like going from Tier 6 to Tier 7 of the Apprentice stage, give much higher energy returns."

"Like when I first entered the Wildlands: as a Warrior, I killed over 40 Beast Generals to fill 20% of the star's progress bar."

"But once I advanced to an Entry-Level War General, I needed over a thousand Beast Generals to fill up the remaining space."

Reviewing his recent harvest, Jiang Zhe muttered:

"Twenty-three days."

"I've traveled across nearly half of northern Huaxia, slaying a total of 144 Lord-level beasts."

"Most of them were low and mid-level Lords. Only five were high-level Lords. They're rare and tough to kill. But even so, the progress bar is already over 80%."

"If I were to exclusively hunt high-level Lords, I'd probably need fewer than a hundred to complete the third star from scratch."

"But that's enough for now. Tomorrow's a big day—I should return home for Grandpa and Uncle's promotion ceremony."

---

Normally, the Jiang family wouldn't hold such celebrations.

But with both Huaxia and the HR Alliance pushing them to make a statement, the banquet had to be held—and it had to be grand. Both powers wanted to claim these two newly promoted council members as "their people."

Jiang Zhe flew back from the grasslands to Lanling Base City, unaware that someone had already set their sights on him.

---

Kyoto, Imperial District, Villa 09.

This was the private residence of Councilor Li Nansheng. Lately, he hadn't been having a good time.

His long-standing partnership with the Wang family had collapsed overnight. After a disastrous misstep, the Wang family's main branch had been replaced—essentially a total regime change.

The new head of the Wang family immediately cut ties with him and turned to curry favor with Jia Yi instead.

Li Nansheng felt like he'd been betrayed—humiliated.

With the master in a foul mood, everyone in the mansion walked on eggshells, afraid to even breathe too loudly. The entire villa was steeped in tension.

But then—light at the end of the tunnel.

It all started with a video from a military base in the northeast.

In it, Jiang Zhe was seen carrying a long spear and using spiritual power to levitate a heavy pack, delivering beast materials to the Jiang family business.

Li Nansheng's eyes locked onto the shape bundled in cloth on Jiang Zhe's back—and his heart nearly exploded with joy.

"Over 2.6 meters long, wrapped in cloth to hide its ornate finish... There's no doubt about it! That's the Jiang family's ancestral divine spear!"

"They actually dared take it out of the city!"

"Do they think no one knows how special that weapon is? Ha! Heaven is truly on my side!"

He pulled out an old smartphone locked away in a safe and rewatched the blurry footage stored inside.

In the video, two high-level War Gods clashed to the death. Both wore Black God battle armor. The battle was deadlocked—until a dazzling, extravagant spear tore through the armor and ended it.

"I've obsessed over this for more than twenty years... And now, it's finally within reach!"

"No—calm down!"

"Jiang Zhe's a formidable Spiritual Mentor. I'll only get one shot. And it can't be in Huaxia territory—too easy to get exposed. Those two annoying elders of his will respond quickly."

"Only one chance!"

---

Jiang Zhe returned home late that night.

The Jiang family estate was already decorated in festive red for the upcoming ceremony.

The courtyard's center was lit with a large bonfire—a warm gathering was in full swing.

There were around 40 people—half of them from Huaxia, the rest from Europa. Most were young women, likely elite daughters from the HR Alliance's younger generation.

To Jiang Zhe's surprise, Black Bear—no, his second brother—was also present. And it seemed... he was in trouble. A short girl was clinging to him, not letting go.

"Wait... Is this some kind of matchmaking party?"

Jiang Zhe quickly stopped midair.

Controlling his shield with spiritual force, he made a sharp turn to sneak back into his private courtyard.

But Jiang Wu wasn't about to let his "lifesaving straw" escape.

"Dearest little brother!" he called loudly. "Now that you're a War God, you won't even spare a glance at your poor older brother?!"

Not listening! Black Bear chants nonsense!

Jiang Zhe ignored him and flew straight into his private villa.

"Little Ye, we'll chat later," Jiang Wu told the girl, already moving. "My little brother and I are practically enemies now—I have to resolve this family feud immediately!"

The girl waved sweetly. "See you tomorrow, Wu-ge!"

Jiang Zhe tried to shut his door.

But a hand shot out, stopping it.

"Let me hide here, please! I've only been back five days and I've already been dragged to three of these parties! Grandpa's trying to kill me!"

Jiang Zhe rolled his eyes. "Killing you? This is called helping you with your lifelong happiness."

"Ugh, don't even joke about that," Jiang Wu waved it off. "You're the crazy one lately—slaying over a hundred Lord-level beasts. The outside world says you alone can supply our entire family's weapon factory."

"What? I was just killing monsters to pass the time."

Trying to change the subject, Jiang Zhe said, "You're no slouch either. Already a high-level War General. Looks like the Thunderblade Pavilion's elite training program really worked."

"Haha, Xiao Zhe, I'm also cultivating the 'Ninefold Thunder Blade' now. My burst strength is at 4.2 times base. Once I use the jade marrow and dragon blood, I'll probably break through to War God too."

"When you go hunting next time, take me along."

---

After the promotions of Grandpa and Uncle, Jiang Zhe set out again.

This time—destination: Australia.

His goal: kill more Lord-level beasts and complete the last portion of gene accumulation.

But more importantly, he wanted to visit Mist Island and collect a dozen spiritual herbs for his family.

The Nine-Life Revival Grass had already been used by Grandpa for medicine. Jiang Zhe only brought five units of dragon blood this time, planning to complete two long-prepared advancements.

On an HR Alliance-dispatched private jet, Jiang Zhe jumped mid-air above a mountain range and landed using his shield.

—Coordinates: 140°E ~ 145°E; 25°S ~ 30°S

What he didn't know was that, right after he jumped, the pilot transmitted his expected range of movement to an unknown party.

The plane itself? It crashed into the Pacific Ocean on its return journey.

---

Australia was teeming with Lord-level beasts.

Wearing his Black God battle armor, Jiang Zhe fearlessly moved through danger, prioritizing speed and targeting mostly low-level Lords.

Giant Force Apes ×2!

Gold-Backed Crocodiles ×4!

Titanic Rock Kangaroos ×3!

Redback Spider Wolves!

Thunder Snakes!

Diamond Pythons!

---

The next morning.

Bathed in sunlight, Jiang Zhe finally broke into a satisfied smile after a full day and night of battle.

"Total: 223 Lord-level monsters slain."

"153 low-level, 56 mid-level, 14 high-level."

"Now… it's time for the final evolution!"

His four flying daggers spun and drilled into the earth.

Jiang Zhe dove in after them, using his spiritual force on his legs like a drill, boring deep into the rocky layer.

There, he created a small underground chamber, leaned against a rock, and rested until he reached optimal condition.

He then sat cross-legged, mentally visualizing the triple-star diagram from his Life Blueprint.

Pure energy emerged from his sea of consciousness and surged through his body.

The rune on his chest glowed, while countless energy particles swirled and merged into him.

Two energy streams intertwined—flesh and spirit fusing.

Evolution had begun.

This time, it was the third star on his left shoulder that was being fully solidified.

The brain region, right shoulder, and now the left shoulder…

Three shining stars connected to form a unique life force field.

It pulsed gently, guiding Jiang Zhe's body through its ultimate transformation.

He could feel every cell dividing, every fiber of muscle and bone evolving.

Most important of all—

That feeling of perfect unity: mind, body, bones, and blood… no longer a loose collection of systems.

They were now one complete, powerful whole.
