Ezra's POV
"Are you out of your mind? Like, why would a human sacrifice anything for these damn beastmen when we're enemies?"
He smirked upon hearing me.
"Then it's none of your problem. You can leave. And don't worry about them—they'll die soon."
Oh gosh, should I really leave? Because this angel doesn't seem easy to deal with.
"What sacrifice do you want me to make?"
I asked, because—of course—what if he asked for my life? What if I die? I don't want to die young. I haven't even slept with an Alpha yet.
"Simple. Give me your life."
See? This is exactly what I feared. And what would he even gain by killing me, anyway?
"Why do you want my life? And since I'm the one sacrificing, I should get to decide what to give up!"
I said and started thinking. Just then, something very interesting crossed my mind.
"I'll sacrifice my habit of lying. Okay, now we're done—take them out of there," I said.
