"Calista!" Orion shouted, hoping she would pop out from the bathroom, but she did not.
"Oh no!" He muttered, rushing back down the stairs, hoping to meet her somewhere in the house, but she was nowhere to be found.
Remembering that an article has been made about his wife getting drunk so early in the morning, he knew it could cause scandal for him, his reputation and his company, so he decided to sort one thing after the other. But, first, finding Calista took utmost priority.
With a racing heart, his hands typed relentlessly on his phone screen until he found Thalia's number, which he had gotten from Thompson in case of emergency.
"Who is this?" She asked from the other side of the phone. He could hear the sniffling, Calista hurt her with her words earlier.
"This is Orion. Is Calista with you?" He asked urgently.
Frowning, Thalia replied, "She doesn't want me around, why would you think she is here?" She snapped and hung up, feeling frustrated at Orion's insensitivity.
