Lucian's face gets twisted with horror. He had not expected that they would encounter bandits on their way. He turned his head to look at his father.
He was not scared in the slightest. However, he had an apprehensive look in his eyes. He was worried about Lucian.
He also turned to his son and hugged him like it was his last hug. Lucian could feel the sorrow in the hug but words couldn't leave his mouth.
Osian whispered in his ears, "Now listen to me very well son, just like you promised."
Lucian nodded his head nervously.
Osian continued, "Okay. I will distract the bandits and in the meantime, you have to sneak out of here and run to the west. There you will find a city. You have to tell them what happened and ask for their help."
Lucian hurriedly replied to his father crying, "No... No father. I won't leave you alone. Come with me. We will both sneak out of here. "
