After the celebration ended, Teresa couldn't hide her worry anymore and asked Lucian: "Son, why did you not call us when you were going to take the last step? Both of us know how much pain one experiences when taking the last step. You could have at least told us beforehand."
Lucian felt that he had indeed wronged his parents. His head fell down in shame.
