Samir's face twisted and he said, "That was not a mountain but a Rakshas. Yeah that makes pure absolute sense!"
Up to this point, Samir had been listening to the stories for purely the satiation of his curiosity. But, now he was slowly losing the interest that had kept him going. He was now becoming irritated instead of being surprised because of the sudden revelations.
Yam also understood this fact. He was not a good storyteller and he was not oblivious to that either. For some reason, he was still going on with the tale, ignoring Samir's discontent. The only difference being his pace.
Samir held all the emotions in his mind for the moment and listened hoping that he would find the actual reason soon enough.
Little did he know, these stories which were like bedtime stories for him entailed a much bigger picture than he could have ever imagined.
