It seemed that the words of that guy named Luton had struck him quite deeply, he completely wrapped the subject about wanting to execute me up and allowed me to attend the meeting as if nothing had happened .
Just as he allowed me to do so and I was going to take a seat while the guards were already pulling the corpse and the badly injured elder Levn away, I saw that the king suddenly yelled at me asking me about what I was trying to do, he seemed to be quite angry seeing me heading towards the only empty seat on the meeting table .
I seeing no reason for him to be acting up like this, I said :
" I'm taking a seat, is there a problem with that ? .
Those seats are only for the guys who were the head of their families or those who represented them, go stand or kneel like the others .
" Well, I don't believe that I'm like the others nor do I think that I'm inferior to anyone here, so I'm more than worthy to have a seat here and it just so happened that there is an empty seat here, so I will sat on this one .
What empty seat, this seat already belong to the Levern Family, it being currently vacant, doesn't mean that anyone can just come and claim it for themselves, if that were to happen than how can the position of the family head be respected anymore .
" It seem that his Majesty once again misunderstood something, I didn't say that I'm taking this seat as claiming it for myself, in fact it's the opposite, I will be taking a seat on that chair as a representative of the Levern Family, it's my compensation for the damage I caused them .
The moment my words fell, the people in the room had already heard this conversation before, so for them it really wasn't anything new, but that can't be said to be the case for that King Devo, he was listing to this for the very first time and reading his expression he seemed to be completely flabbergasted after hearing this .
I looked at the King and he stared back at me, normally what I already did, should have been enough to trigger his enmity and anger and at least he should have attacked me already by now, but surprisingly that didn't happen yet .
I wondered if it was because he was uncertain of my strength and was wary of it, or were he still unable to process the change in the attitude of some family heads, that made him even more wary to confront me directly perhaps, only he knew what was currently going on his head, I can only make speculations about it .
Just as we were staring at one another without being able to understand what the other person was thinking about, a cough sounded followed by quite the sickly voice, the sound seemed to come out of someone who was almost at the death doorstep .
But the moment it appeared, the King expression brightened up a little, it was the voice of that Elder Levn, he seemed to have been listening to all that was going on, he was leaning on one of the guards and he was helped up, removing the blood that was on his mouth, he then said :
We at the Levern Family, consider only family members as the only spokesperson of us in this meeting, so we are thankful for the hero Callen intention of wanting to help, but we're will have to refu.... .
Just as he had already finished saying what I needed to hear, in a swift motion, the Elder got suddenly hit by the realization of grave his injuries were and before he even finish saying all that he have to say, he collapsed on the floor and this time there was no hope for him to regain consciousness any time soon .
" See, that old man should have really kept laying down, he just wake up and due to how severe his injuries, he yet collapsed once more, you can take him out now, guard, are you listening, he might die if you kept standing like that .
At my words, all the people in the room rolled their eyes at me, seeing their reaction, I already understood that they were aware of what just took place, I was the one who reminded the elder of how grave was his injuries just now and even though I was discreet as possible, most of the people present were still able to see through my actions, I looked at the King and saw that the expression on his face that had been brightened not that long time ago, was now completely ugly to look at .
Seeing him like that was enough to tell me that he was both at his limit and that he was beginning to become more wary but impatient with me, seeing that the guard was still unmoving and his face was filled with doubt, the guy that was back on the floor was directly beginning to bleed out and if continued his dark green blood might end up dyeing the whole floor green, the King said :

That one word together with the pressure that it came with were enough to make the guards regain their senses and finally removing the corpse and the guy that was almost like corpse out of the room, after the guards went out, King Devo then looked at me dead in the eyes and said with a voice that was filled with unmasked resentment :
You heard what he said right, since the family who owned the right to the chair didn't want you to represent them, then I can't give you my permission to sit there .
" The King is indeed right and wise, I guess there is no helping it then .
Saying this I paused a bit and still directly took a seat on the Levern Family's seat, I had already accepted the Chariot so the seat and the family next shouldn't be much of a problem, after taking a seat and seeing the shocked faces of too many people including the face of the King, I continued to say :
" I guess that family had no one to teach them that it shouldn't be appropriate to refuse someone's helping hand, I hope the King will be merciful enough to not punish them as for their seat, I will be waiting for someone to have enough strength to come and take it off my hand .
As my words echoed throughout the Hall, I was able to hear the deep breathes of the people that were in the room, that was how quite the room was at my words, the King was the person with the most erratic and deep breathing rhythm among all those who were present and why wouldn't he be .
I was causing him a huge headache and pain in the back, but that wasn't the only thing that shocked the crowd, those guys were still standing while I had already taken a seat without even asking for the king's permission, so both my words and actions, shocked them yet again .
I saw that he was gritting his teeth and clenching his hands so tighly on the armchairs of his seat, a few seconds later and with how angry he was, those armchairs weren't able to handle the pressure they were under and they snapped after reaching their limit, the dangerous aura and pressure he was exuding were enough to force all the people in the room to lower their gaze .
Yet their was still no indication that he was about to attack, he kept looking at me trying to discern my secrets, but all of his tries to do so seemed to fail, in the end seeing that there was no way he could deal with me perhaps, he instead preferred to deal with my family head .
He still hadn't let go of his gaze at me, but was now directing his question to the family head whose face currently was ugly and seemed to be cursing me for the situation he was in, but everything here should be getting wrapped up soon enough, after all, it was either him attacking me directly or allowing me to already attend sitting on the same seat that he didn't want me to sit on .
Dorax, you said that this youngling of yours seemed to have gotten a huge increase in power, not only that but it was at the cost of him losing his memories, don't you think that this was quite suspicious and that maybe this was nothing but a plot made by someone to infiltrate that family of yours and get that incredible technique that allowed you to be proud here .
At the mention of that Technique the family head face went ugly and all the people present seemed to be quietly listening more attentively, not only that but I even sensed the solemnity in the room to be increasing and the atmosphere in the room began to become more intense than before .
The Demon Emperor is still waiting for the other parts of that Technique you know, he even written to me personally about it, asking when the last 4 chapters will be sent to him and that it shouldn't take so long, or else you know well of the consequences, those was his words, not mine, I'm just clearing up any confusion that might happen by you misunderstanding my intention .
It would be a huge loss, if someone were to disguise himself as a member of the family and appear so suddenly with that much of strength and was able to get his hands on that technique without much of a problem don't you think, not to mention the angry reaction of the Demon Emperor, that family might find itself the laughingstock of the whole Demon Race and all the other races as well for a long time to come .
I don't know about you, but I would have been quite alarmed at the sudden appearance of such a guy and would not have even allowed him to go out until I would have throughly checked his identity and lineage, you have some kind of rituals that should allow you to trace his bloodline back to the family right, like the Seal Of Elders, I heard that it was quite effective .
I saw what he was trying to do here currently, he was trying to raise the suspicions of the family head about me, thinking that the family head change in attitude because he was trusting of me, but it was a bit shocking to know that even that Demon Emperor seemed to have taken some interest in that weird technique that this family have .
I couldn't help but be reminded of the fact that the Mind Nourishing Method was indeed very sought-after by Ludo, he even did create a whole plan and plotted against his own teammates and higher-ups just for the sake of acquiring that technique .
I couldn't help but link the need that the Demon Emperor have to this technique with the arrangements between the Dorell family and the Demon Emperor's family, could the marital relationship that I heard about before be for this cause, it was quite possible .
Unfortunately for King Devo his suspicions were unfounded, I looked at the family head and for some reason, me doing this made the King smile as if already coming out victorious or something, what was even weirder, was the fact that the family head also had a smile on his face as he said :
The king's concerns were quite profound, normally, him appearing like this all of a sudden was enough to make some people suspicious, especially considering the face that he came back with his Seal Of Elders being non-existent .... .
So he was really an imposter and you dared to bring him here instead of killing him, so you joined his s... .
Before his Majesty say anything else that might be used against him, I would like to make a few things clear, Callen had indeed lost his Seal when he came back, but did his Majesty think that I would have bring him here if he was a threat, I guess that is how low someone from the esteemed Monster race think of us Demons .
We tested Callen Loon by making a Bloodline Tracing Ritual, what do you think we found your majesty, that guy's bloodline was indeed belong to our family not only that, but I'm proud to say that we in the Dorell family had finally begotten someone whose Blood purity was off the shards compared to anything we had seen before .
That guy bloodline before showed that he had only a bit of our bloodline in him, but the last test showed that Callen's here results were superior to the results of Pure Blood members, he even enticed the remnants of the Ancestor's Will to reappear, he shocked us all when he went through with the ritual, he beat the remnants of the Ancestor's Will .
So not only his identity is confirmed, but this guy might be the key to elevate our family to greatness again, his Majesty doesn't need to concern himself with his identity, as for the concern about someone grabbing the Mind Nourishing Method, all I can say is that it's safe and sound as it will always be .
I hope you relay to the Emperor that we will be waiting for him to do his part of the deal, then we will certainly be handing out the last 4 chapters to him as he liked, do you think that these arrangements are reasonable, your majesty .
At the family head's words, the King seemed to be swallowing all the insults that he was about to throw at me and the Dorell family head and in response to what the family head asked, the King just said :
I will help you relay that message, but I have no turf to judge you or say anything about whether your arrangements were correct or not, that will be up to the Demon Emperor to decide, but since that you have this much faith in that guy named Callen, for this time and this time only because I had doubted you earlier, I'm willing to let you sit in the seat of the Levern Family .
It seemed that the family head's words dealt the finishing blow to that guy, but he seemed to be quick-witted, at least having enough perception to understand that he currently doesn't have any choice than adopting this solution and using that excuse to keep his face, the other choice would be to fight me .
But it seemed that he have his orders or maybe he was just cautious to fight someone who he still have no idea about his scope of strength, no matter what the reason was, the skirmish ended in my favor and I saw him motioning for other to sit down as well then he said :
