The voice was filled with both bewilderment and unquestionable authority, it came from the direction of the door which the elder of the Levern Family looked at before, the moment it sounded in the room, the bodies of most people in the room become suddenly tense, so was the atmospher inside the room as well .
I turned my head to see a man with a muscler build, his hair had purple mixed with gray hair, it was an indication of old age perhaps, his hair was long, so long that it was reaching his waist, he wasn't comping it, so it fall on his face and ears as well, the guy's face was rough and his eyes were piercing yellow in color, his pupils didn't have a weird shape like the other demon .
Well, it's most likely because the guy followed by the guards and was currently staring coldly at me wasn't indeed a Demon, the person in front of me was most likely the King Devo they kept on mentioning, the guy looked quite strong for somone who should have nothing but 70 to 50 years left of lifespan .
What made me certain of his identity other than him coming from that other door, was two things, first because the representatives of the 13 Founding Families were currently standing from there seats and they were bowing to him without feeling any indignation, this was a normal reaction most would only have towards one that was superior to themselves in Rank and Esteem, but among them, I was the exception .
The second direct reason was because of the clothes he was wearing, they were quite extravagant, he was wearing a golden robe and mixed with some touches of Blood like marbles adorning the upper part of the robe, he was wearing a one ring that seemed to have a big diamond etched into it, the air around him seemed to indicate nobility and very much extravagance as well .
The guy currently had a frown on his face as he looked at the scene in front of him, but his face seemed to have another expression etched into it as well, it was pure arrogance, even though he was frowning, that arrogant side of him was still apparent as if it was part of his pride, he took a few steps towards the table and sat in the main chair in the center of the two sides table, it just so happened, that I was also currently standing at the end of it and his first word was :
Disappear .
The moment that word sounded, I felt like the whole place was kicking me out, the whole place seemed to hate my existence and me being here and it was trying to force me out, all kinds of pressure were suddenly being exerted on me, wind began to try and push me backwards, but all of this was futile, even though he might have been using a lot of strength and exerting a lot of pressure, I felt a small sting of pain and that's all .
But I was a bit dissatisfied with his tone, so I tried to activate my eyes and saw the magic nodes in the Palace that was responsible for some of the pressure, I was forced to endure and I willed it to stop and it did, just like I did with that magical attack from the barrier, my eyes effectiveness weren't completely clear to me yet, but from what I had seen, my eyes were actually making up for the shortcomings that those troll like guys have, Eyes that were inclined to magic .
Those pair of eyes were making up for the lack of magical talent, this race have, I'm not certain of all its capabilities, but I sensed great power in it, it seemed that I really will need to get my hand on that Mind Nourishing Method after going back, it might be the key to uncover a lot of my eyes secrets .
But now, back to the matter at hand, the man in front of me was surprised at the fact that the pressure who was accustomed to use, was now failing him, not only that, but it seemed that it was no longer responding to him, his eyebrows arched slightly at this, but he soon sensed something and all that he did after, was to let the elder from the Levern Family finally landing on the ground, he then said looking at me with a stern face :

" I'm Callen Loon, member of the Dorell family and the guy that your majesty should have sent guards to fetch earlier, I'm here to attend the meeting with my family head and discuss if we could solve the misunderstanding peacefully .
Oh, so you are the guy who tried to destroy the sacred barrier, you are quite courageous to appear here in front of me, what's going on Dorax, do your family finally went to rebel, why this guy isn't handcuffed and captured, answer me .
He suddenly directed his talk towards the family head, the guy was already at loss of words from earlier, so him being under the limelight all of a sudden, made him unable to muster any words to say, but after that guy screamed at him what seemed to be some mental attack, the family head raised his head finally and said :
Replaying to your majesty, we won't dare do that, our family and all its members are a direct subordinates of the Demon Emperor and his wish is our commands, but with that said, Young Callen here had some problem the other day that resulted in him gaining a lot of strength .
But probably at the cost of him losing most of his memories, that was the reason why he attacked the barrier the other day, he was trying to enter the city on a whim, he didn't know that there was a protocol that he must follow .
I hope that the King can be kind enough to write that offense off on the premise of our contribution to the Demon race, if not I would be asking for the favor of the crown prince, he shouldn't be minding what happened her that much .

The other guys weren't even raising their heads to give their opinion on this, the only one who was currently allowed to talk was the Dorell family head, the others were burying their head in the sand like ostriches, looking around me, I noticed that almost everyone here seemed to be aware of what were those offences he mentioned, they were quite clear after all .
I killed a heir and severely injured an elder, so I did create quite the havoc, I was going to take responsibility for my actions, but just as I was about to talk, the family head beat me to it first, he said :

Hearing the question of the family head, I felt that almost all the people that were currently present rolled their eyes at him, even the stern expression on the king's face deepened a little more as he seemed to be confused at what the family head's question, I don't blame him even one bit, what the family head was saying was indeed quite confusing to me as well .
A few minutes before, that same man was cowering in fear and acting all submissive, but now, it seemed that he had regained some of his courage back, at least enough to be talking back to the King like this, his question seemed to make the the King broke into some cold laughter, after the bone chilling cold laughs ended the King said as if roaring, he said :
You are asking me about what earned him the death penalty, since when the decisions of this king were up for discussion from the likes of you, but just for the sake of your words earlier about you being so called filial subordinate to the Demon Emperor, I will let an eyewitness be the one to answer you, Phyricos, tell him what offences that cub of his family did, Hmph .
Phyricos being finally given the chance to rise, looked at the King and nodded, then he looked at me and finally his gaze happened to meet the gaze of the family head who just simply nodded at him and I saw the other nodding back, I didn't understand what that seemed to imply, but I already prepared myself to go against that guy Devo here and now without holding back .
But it seemed that there was currently no reason for such a conflict to arise, Phyricos looked at the King, bowed and said something that shocked most people in the room, me included, he said:
Phyricos here, replying to his Majesty, I didn't see the Dorell family kid do anything wrong, at least not enough to make him earn the death penalty, that's my only opinion on the matter .
Phyricos words were a direct slap to the King's face, after all, the King was the one to call him for testimony, but in the end he said that I'm innocent, the expression on the king's face grow Darker at this .
The guy who had a tanned complexion was now exuding a more powerful pressure than before, one that was enough to make the two who seemed to be standing opposite to him, Phyricos and Dorax to find some difficulty in keeping their balance .

I was wondering why was he suddenly shifting his thoughts about me, a few minutes before, he was against me with all of his power, to the point that I was beginning to believe that this guy should be hating my guts now, yet, that no longer seemed the case .
I didn't grasp the reason behind it completely, but only attributed his change of behavior to the nod, Dorax gave him earlier, but either way it was a good development for me, so there were really no need to make fuzz over it .
The king seeing that even after a whole minute or even more passing, no one seemed to be willing to state anything at all, the pressure increased even more, this time targeting all the people present, some of them began to shake in their position, some directly bent the knee, willingly or forcefully that really didn't matter much, he seeing that there was still no response, he shouted loudly at them, saying :
So, what are your thoughts, tell me .
Their silent was the the only thing that met him, even those guys that were bending the knee, they just stared at me fearfully, gulped their saliva and continued to stay silent, but finally someone seemed to be able to muster his courage and replay .
The guy who talked was the second strongest guy in the room after the King, he also was the one that could be said to have his seat closer to the King's seat, I noticed that guy before and was quite interested in knowing what he had to say after seeing him straightening up, that guy said :
His Majesty should really calm down, or else some of us here, I'm afraid will be squished to death by the increasing pressure, replying to your majesty's inquiry, I believe that I'm talking on behalf of everyone present here when I say that most if not all of us believe that Callen Loon didn't commit anything heinous enough to be given the death penalty .
In fact I do rever that guy and believe that we all should, he reminded us Demons of the one rule that we seemed to have all forgot, Strength Rule, he was stronger than those two guys and they suffered misfortune for it, not to mention that we all witnessed that the one who initiated the attack was Levn and the heir of his family Jig .
Even after Callen warned them the consequences would be quite severe if they did, they still tried to test him and he reacted accordingly and fended against them, I won't be holding him any responsibility, just because he was stronger than his opponent that would be quite absurd, so I hope that the King remember that we are in the end Demons, that's how we deal with conflict like this arising in our society .
That guy speech was long, but it was indeed strong, it also seemed that this guy seem to be holding something against those guys from the Levern Family as well, making use of this chance, he struck them good, the other people present seemed to agree that this was indeed the case as they nodded their heads, but those who didn't were just keeping their stances as neutral clearly shown .
The king hearing the words about how was this the Demons way of solving conflicts, his expression darkened even more, knowing about his identity, I was able to understand why was he reacting like this, he was a Monster, not a demon, but he was still put on top of the hierarchy pyramid to rule them, no matter how willing these Demons seemed to be, grievances are bound to happen and conflicts are bound to arise .
