Chapter 1 – Marriage

"You're getting married… to five women."

Those were the last words I remembered before my world changed forever.

My name is Yuu Yuhin — twenty-five years old, CEO of Japan's largest multinational group. A strategist feared in boardrooms, admired in headlines. Every deal was a battle I won with precision.

I had everything: wealth, power, influence.

Everything but love.

Everything but family.

Until the day I died.

---

The Last Moment

It happened in the blink of an eye.

A girl was crossing the street in Shibuya — the lights glowed red, traffic roared.

Then came a truck, metal screaming against asphalt.

My mind didn't think. My body simply moved.

I dashed forward and shoved the girl out of the way.

Pain followed — pure and absolute.

A deafening crash. The taste of iron in my mouth. The weight of metal crushing bone.

Strangely, I didn't feel fear.

I felt… recognition.

The girl I'd saved knelt beside me, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Her voice trembled as she whispered,

"I won't let you die, my husband."

My vision blurred. Blood dripped down my chin.

But that voice — it pierced through the haze.

Rin Yuma.

My childhood friend.

The one I had long forgotten.

---

A New World

I woke to darkness.

Cool air brushed my skin. Soft sheets pressed beneath me. A faint floral scent lingered in the air.

My hand moved instinctively — and landed on something warm, smooth, and soft.

Something that was definitely not a pillow.

I opened my eyes. A bare shoulder glimmered in the dim light. My fingers… rested on a breast.

I froze.

"Mmm… good morning, darling~"

A teasing voice purred near my ear. The sheets slid down, revealing a young woman with long, silky blue hair that cascaded like water. Her sky-blue eyes shimmered with mischief.

She was completely naked.

And so was I.

Before I could process any of this, she leaned forward and kissed me — soft, slow, unhurried.

The door burst open.

"Mi… you're unbelievable."

Rin Yuma stood there. Her pink hair flowed freely down her back, sapphire eyes glowing with restrained irritation. She wore a loose white shirt over shorts, her expression caught between amusement and disbelief.

I quickly pulled the sheets up to cover myself.

"Rin… what's going on here?" I asked, forcing my voice to stay steady.

She stepped inside as if she owned the room and sat casually on the edge of the bed.

"You died," she said simply. "But I didn't let you stay dead. You've crossed into my world."

I stared at her. "Wait… this isn't Earth?"

"No," she said softly. "This is Alicia — the kingdom of magic."

I glanced at the blue-haired girl now calmly dressing herself.

"And her?"

"That's my little sister, Mi Yuma," Rin said. "Your second fiancée."

My brain short-circuited.

"Second?! I don't even remember having a first!"

Rin leaned closer, smiling faintly.

"When you were dying, I offered you a chance to live. You agreed. The condition was simple — you'd marry the daughters of the Yuma family. That makes me your first wife."

I blinked.

"Then what was she doing just now—"

"Restoring your magical energy," Rin interrupted calmly. "Physical contact accelerates the flow."

Mi giggled, brushing her hair.

"And the kiss?"

"Monitoring your stability, of course~"

I narrowed my eyes. That explanation was as believable as smoke in rain. But Mi only smiled, humming as she tied her hair with a blue ribbon.

Who I Am

Let me step back.

I'm Yuu Yuhin — tall, lean, sharp-jawed. Long black hair brushing against my back, eyes cold and distant. I never believed in destiny — only in decisions.

And yet, here I was.

In a world of magic, monsters, and marriages.

Later that morning, I sat across from Rin and Mi in a grand dining hall. Floating orbs of light hovered above the table, casting gentle glows over crystal dishes.

The food smelled divine. I couldn't eat a bite.

"You said I died," I began. "Now I'm in your world. How is that even possible?"

Rin rested her chin on her hand.

"Our souls have been connected since childhood," she said. "Even when I lived here, fragments of my soul sometimes crossed into your world. You just didn't know."

"You disappeared when we were kids," I murmured.

"Because I was comatose," Rin said softly. "My soul wandered to Earth — and you were the only one who could see me. That's how our bond formed."

I exhaled slowly. Her words shouldn't have made sense… but they did.

Somewhere deep inside, I felt it — a faint pulse, like a memory long buried.

---

The Fifth Bridegroom

"So let me get this straight," I said. "I died. You pulled me here. Healed me. And now I'm engaged… to five sisters?"

"Correct," Mi said sweetly. "You've already met two."

"And the others?"

"You'll meet them today," Rin replied, standing gracefully. "Our parents await. It's time to face the engagement pact."

I let out a long breath, then rose from my seat.

---

Final Thoughts

As I followed them through the marble corridors, the palace shimmered faintly with enchantment. Beastfolk maids bowed as we passed, their movements fluid and silent. Crystals embedded in the walls pulsed with living mana, breathing with the rhythm of the place itself.

And somewhere in the air — beneath the scent of magic and roses — was the weight of something larger.

I wasn't in a dream.

This was real.

A beginning.

A test of everything I'd ever been.

A marriage… not just to people,

but to destiny itself.
