"Welcome, hero!" An impossibly beautiful woman gently floats before me. "Due to your tragic death, you've been chosen to be reincarnated. I am the goddess of this world, Irena. Now, would you like a super-cheat skill, or an ultra-cheat skill?"
"Did you say goddess?" The world abounds with frauds of all kinds. But this is my first encounter with a false god. Whatever this thing intends, it can't be good.
"Yes, that's right! What kind of skill would you like?"
"FRAUD! There is no god but the One True God! Release me at once!"
"What? There seems to be a misunderstanding here. Maybe I can help you calm down..." She casts some sort of spell in my direction. Thwack! The spell is deflected!
"That's impossible! I'm the goddess of this world!" She tries again. The spell is deflected again, but more rudely.
"There is no god but the One True God. Release me now, creature."
"Creature!? I'll--" a malicious scowl begins forming on her face, only to be scattered by fear. "I'll... I'll send you down with no skill at all! See how you fare without my help!"
Released from her lair, I find myself in an unfamiliar wilderness. Vivid colors overwhelm my eyes. I can hear rushing water, a gentle wind, and a symphony of birds. What awaits me here?
