"Theo…" Daisy called again, her voice echoing softly down the quiet hallway. It was the third time she'd called his name, yet there was still no answer. "Are you here?"
She peeked into the study and was met with silence. Stepping inside, her lips curved into a small smile as her eyes wandered over the room's elegant interior. It was only her second time being in here, not because Theo had ever forbidden it, but simply because there wasn't much for her to do in his private space.
The faint scent of his cologne lingered in the air, blending with the warm, woody tone of the furniture. Papers were neatly stacked on the desk, a few open files beside his laptop, and one of his watches rested carelessly near the pen holder.
