Chapter 163 - A Name and a Tail

The doctors finished checking Rossweise and confirmed she was fine. They left some medicine to help her recover faster, along with instructions for after the birth, and then they left.

The two little dragon girls stopped their chattering and hurried to the bedside to see their new sister.

"She is so tiny! It feels like she could be punched really far away," Noah said, her tone very serious.

Leon knew she was just trying to describe how "small" the baby was, but the way she said it was very… dragon-like.

"Oh, dear sister, do not scare the little one," Muen said, her eyes on the baby. Then she added, "One punch might not be enough. It might take two."

Alright, alright. You two just bully the little sister who cannot understand you yet. If she could, she would probably try to spank you with her newly cut cord.

In the bedroom, Rossweise lay on her side on the bed. Leon held the baby and sat on the edge. The two daughters stood on either side of him.

A family of five, together and quite harmonious.

Muen stood on her tiptoes and gently pinched her little sister's cheek.

It was soft and chubby, with a light baby smell.

Muen's eyes lit up with an idea. "Sister, Mom, Dad! Let us give little sister a name!"

"What name does Muen want to give her?" Leon asked.

While Rossweise was pregnant, he and she had thought about names for their third baby. But they never found one that felt right.

Even now, with the baby here, they still had not decided. But since Muen brought it up, why not all think of one together as a family?

Muen blinked her beautiful eyes, touched her chin, and thought for a moment. "Let us call her Star~! Muen's name means 'moon,' so it makes sense for little sister to be called Star~"

It made sense… it kind of did. But whether it was the word "star" itself or any similar-sounding names, it did not seem quite right for a princess's formal name. It might work as a nickname.

"Star is not quite right," Noah said.

Muen pouted. "Then, sister, what name do you suggest?"

"Well… since my name comes from the ancient dragon hero 'Noah,' for little sister, let us pick a name from another hero."

Noah thought for a moment. "How about… Blaze?"

Muen looked very serious. "That sounds like a barbarian's name, sister."

"How is it barbarian?"

"It is totally barbarian. Not as good as my Star."

"Blaze!"

"Star!"

"Blaze!"

"Star~~~"

The two sisters turned to look at Leon at the same time.

"Dad!"

"Huh? Uh… what is it?"

Leon was startled and almost dropped the baby in his arms.

"Dad, which one is better, Star or Blaze?"

Leon pressed his lips together. He actually thought both names were just okay. As he thought before, "Star" did not have much depth and did not sound like a proper name.

As for "Blaze," never mind if it sounded barbarian or not, it just did not sound like a girl's name at all.

But he did not want to hurt his daughters' feelings. He glanced at Rossweise for help.

The queen naturally understood her captive's thoughts. After a moment, she spoke to the two girls. "Naming is a very important matter. Your father and I could not decide even after thinking for a long time. We cannot rush it now."

Muen shyly leaned against her sister, playing with her fingers. "We understand, Mom."

Noah gently pulled Muen's little tail and rubbed her cheek. The harmless little sister argument was now over.

As they grew older, it was natural for them to have different opinions. But that was not a bad thing. It was good that his daughters could think for themselves. And as twin sisters, they would not really fight.

Leon and Rossweise trusted their daughters' character.

"Although we have not decided on a name yet, could you girls help Mom and Dad with something?" Leon changed the subject at the right time. "Does our little sister look more like Dad or Mom?"

Of course, he steered the topic toward the less intense debate between him and Rossweise.

Rossweise lay on the bed, rolling her eyes silently. It was only because she was a little weak that she did not have the energy to argue with him.

Otherwise, on this matter, the Silver Dragon Queen would never back down! Dragon genes were the best!

"The baby was just born. It is hard to tell who she looks like right now," Rossweise said. She paused, as if remembering something. "But you can look at her… tail~"

Leon's body went stiff. "Tail…?"

Seeing his reaction, Rossweise smiled with satisfaction. "Yes, a tail. Our little daughter has a super~~ cute dragon tail~"

Leon still remembered the first time he argued with Rossweise about who Noah and Muen looked like. He had logically listed all the baby features, thinking it would make the dragoness admit they looked more like him.

But what was the result? Rossweise just said, "They have tails," and that completely defeated Leon.

So during this pregnancy, Leon had diligently given his unborn daughter human culture prenatal education. He hoped she would have more human traits after birth. But in the end, did the dragon genes still win?

NO!!

"Daddy~ Daddy~ Let us see our little sister's tail too~" Muen bounced up and down excitedly.

Leon sighed inside. A tail was just a tail. But if there was a fourth child in the future, they would definitely restore human glory!

With that thought, Leon carefully placed his daughter on the bed and slowly unwrapped the blankets covering her.

When he did, the three of them saw a short tail wriggling near the baby's lower back. It looked like a big cocoon – that was the simplest way a human like Leon could describe it.

After all, he had never had a tail himself. Muen and Noah leaned over the edge of the bed, standing on their toes to get a better look at their little sister's tail.

Muen's eyes were practically sparkling, and her mouth made an "O" shape from the cuteness.

"So adorable! I want to touch it!"

She slowly reached out her hand, pointing one finger to gently poke the baby's tail. It was soft and flexible, with a cute feel. As Muen touched it, the tail twitched slightly, and the baby let out a soft sound.

"Wow~~ So much fun~~" Muen clapped her hands.

But Leon frowned as he looked at his youngest daughter's tail. "The color… Why is it different from Noah's and Muen's?"

Noah and Muen both had silver tails, like Rossweise. But their youngest daughter's tail was more… pink?

Half an hour ago, when the doctors cleaned the baby and brought her to Rossweise, she had noticed this too. But she thought it was just the light. Now, in the morning sun, the baby's tail still looked pink?

"Let me see," Rossweise said.

Leon brought the baby closer to Rossweise's pillow. Looking down, the tail was indeed a pinkish color.

"But it is not pure pink…"

Rossweise gently pinched the tip of the baby's tail. There were a few small red scales there. She murmured, "It is more like… a light red."

Red?

Leon was startled. He suddenly realized something.

At that moment, a maid's voice came from outside the door. "Your Majesty, Your Highness, Princess Isabella has arrived."
