c105 — Luya Joins the Battle! Transform! Super Saiyan, Red
"Haaahhhh!!"
Goku, freshly restored by the Senzu Bean's healing power, erupted straight into Super Saiyan Blue the azure divine aura burning brighter and more stable than before. His ki flared so violently that the ruined city beneath them cracked further from the pressure.
As every Saiyan warrior knows, near-death recovery pushes their strength to new extremes the "Zenkai boost" effect Vegeta had once used to surpass even Frieza. But this time, Goku's growth was magnified by something else: a blinding rage.
Zamasu, inhabiting his stolen body, had used it to murder Chi-Chi and Goten. For Goku, they were his most sacred "reverse scale" the one thing no enemy should touch. This wasn't just a fight now, it was personal retribution.
His aura roared like a storm, raw divine ki surging through his veins. At this level, his base Blue strength was nearing the same output as when he had layered Kaio-ken during the Tournament of Destroyers.
But Black Goku caught his fist with one hand, grinning cruelly.
"What's wrong? Is this all your rage amounts to? How disappointing."
"You… bastard!!!" Goku's voice shook with fury as he burst free from Black's grip, surprising him.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
A flurry of blows sent Black flying backward, slamming into the skeletal remains of skyscrapers. Goku didn't let up, darting forward in a blur, his strikes echoing through the ruined streets.
From above, Zamasu moved to intercept but Vegeta's boot met his jaw mid-flight.
"Not so fast, fake god!" Vegeta snarled, immediately engaging him in an intense clash.
The old Supreme Kai from Universe 10 frowned from the sidelines. "Zamasu's power… it's far greater than when I trained him."
Luya's gaze stayed calm. "That's because this isn't the Zamasu from our timeline. Don't judge him by what you remember."
He turned to Trunks. "The others are still injured. The remaining Senzu Beans will keep them alive."
"Got it! Mai, with me!" Trunks called, and Mai quickly led the civilians away.
"Elder Kai, keep them safe," Luya added.
"Understood," the Kai replied gravely.
Luya and Trunks leapt into the battle zone.
Meanwhile, Goku's relentless assault drove Black back through collapsing walls until he smashed him into a crater. The smoke cleared and Black was still standing.
"No way…" Goku muttered. Even with his full Blue power, he hadn't dealt lasting damage.
Black grinned wickedly. "Yes… that pain, that clash… it sharpens me!" His pink divine ki exploded outward in violent waves, taking on a darker hue. His power climbed higher eerily similar to the unnatural growth Goku had sensed in their previous fight.
"This guy… he's evolving mid-battle…" Goku's forehead beaded with sweat.
In an instant, Black blurred behind him. Goku barely registered the movement before multiple razor-like ki spikes shot through his torso.
"Black!" Vegeta barked, but it was too late the spikes detonated, sending Goku plummeting.
Black aimed his palm down at the falling Goku. "And now you're finished."
A flash of red intercepted the blast, deflecting it into the distance.
Black's eyes narrowed. "You… you were the one who blocked me last time."
Luya stood between them, red aura flickering faintly. "Just a Saiyan passing through."
"Then you're trash all the same," Black spat, unleashing a massive energy wave.
"Luya! Don't underestimate him!" Goku coughed out.
But Luya caught the attack barehanded, his boots digging trenches into the concrete before dispersing the ki with a single punch.
In a blink, Black was in his face a sharp hook to Luya's jaw, followed by a spinning heel kick that sent him smashing through three nearby buildings.
"Tch. I expected more," Black said, turning back toward Goku only to sense it.
A deep, resonant hum filled the air. The rubble where Luya had fallen glowed bright crimson.
From within the dust, a roaring flame of divine ki erupted, not blue, but red.
"That ki… it's godly!" Zamasu broke from his clash with Vegeta, sensing it instantly.
"Super Saiyan God," Goku said in surprise. "I didn't think Luya would use that form here…"
Vegeta narrowed his eyes. "No… his energy feels denser than the God form I've seen before."
Trunks stared at the crimson blaze. "That power… why does it feel like I've seen it before…?"
Luya stepped forward, fully transformed slender frame wreathed in the tranquil yet searing aura of Super Saiyan God. But unlike Goku's initial transformation during the Battle of Gods, Luya's ki pulsed with sharper intent, honed for combat.
And his power… was still rising.
"Impossible…" Black muttered. "If he keeps climbing at this rate…"
Goku's eyes widened. "Vegeta… he's not stopping. He's pushing God form even further!"
The air trembled as Luya's aura intensified, divine ki layering and compressing around him. The pressure alone made the battlefield quake and even the two fused villains now wore serious expressions.
