c73: Complete! The Super Saiyan God Mission
BOOM!
A violent tremor rocked the sky. While flying high above the Earth, Luya paused midair, frowning as he sensed something abnormal. His gaze turned upward.and in the next instant, a massive yellow humanoid robot shot past the clouds at high speed.
"That's... Pilaf's robot?" Luya muttered, recognizing the design from previous encounters. "What are they up to now?"
He didn't waste time. Sensing an unstable energy reaction inside the bot, Luya instantly boosted his aura and blasted off after it, trailing a blue tail of ki behind him.
BOOM!
The robot tore through the upper stratosphere, breaching the atmosphere in seconds. Its trajectory was wild and unsteady, but the propulsion system seemed far from depleted—it was still accelerating!
"Damn. If they hit space unprotected especially with a kid on board it's over!"
Without hesitation, Luya gritted his teeth and activated a hidden trump card. A shimmer of translucent energy coated his body.
"Frieza Cell Activation – Stage 2!"
A faint purplish-white aura enveloped him. Thanks to the regeneration and biological modifications from Frieza's DNA, Luya could now freely operate in the vacuum of space, just like Frieza himself had done after Namek.
No sooner had he stabilized above orbit when
BOOM!!!
The robot detonated mid-flight.
Luya's eyes widened. "No!"
He surged forward, and in a blur of motion, threw both hands forward.
"Energy Field Burst!"
A concentrated blast of ki exploded from his palms, dispersing the flame and shockwave from the explosion.
As the debris cleared, Luya's breath caught.
Floating in the wreckage was a small, glowing figure—Pan—surrounded by a gentle white aura, completely untouched by the chaos. Her eyes were wide with childlike wonder. In her giggling little hands, she playfully slapped the air, as if this were all just a game.
Clinging desperately to her legs in midair were the trio of Pilaf, Shu, and Mai, eyes bugging out in sheer terror.
"This... is she awakening her latent Saiyan energy already?" Luya muttered, stunned. "She's... barely a year old!"
And yet, here she was—floating in space, radiating raw energy. Her body instinctively coated in ki as a subconscious form of self-protection. It was similar to how Gohan's hidden power had awakened as a child but even more natural.
"Gyaa! Spare us!" Pilaf howled, his hands slipping from Pan's ankles.
"W-We didn't mean to kidnap her!" Shu cried. "We didn't even know she got in the robot!"
"She must've snuck on board before takeoff!" Mai added, desperately trying to maintain balance.
Luya sighed and flew closer, arms crossed. "If Gohan or Piccolo find out you three almost sent Pan flying into deep space, there won't be a next time for you."
"W-We know! We'll never do evil again!" Pilaf sobbed. "We're reformed! Reformed, I tell you!"
"I'm sure Piccolo would love to hear that," Luya said dryly.
He glanced down at Pan, who looked up at him with wide, curious eyes. Her aura had dimmed a little, and her excitement turned to familiarity when she recognized his face.
"Ba-ba!" she gurgled, reaching out with one hand and laughing cheerfully.
Luya smiled.
He extended his hand gently. "C'mon, Pan. Let's take you home."
Pan stared at him for a moment, then placed her tiny hand in his palm. Her giggles quieted as she leaned forward with trust, a trail of sparkles left behind as her aura receded.
"Still so young," Luya whispered. "But already showing signs of greatness. That's a Saiyan for you."
Gripping her securely, he turned back toward Earth. Pilaf and the others hovered nearby, still panicking.
"You three—enough troublemaking," Luya warned as he activated Instant Transmission. "You're pushing your luck, even as comic relief."
"Y-Yes! We'll stick to farming!" Pilaf babbled.
In a blink, Luya's form blurred and vanished—reappearing far above a forest clearing near Gohan's home, Pan in his arms.
He looked back at the sky and muttered, "The mission's not over yet."

[Ding! Side Mission: 'Gather the Power of Five Saiyans' – Progress: 4/5]
Luya's eyes narrowed. One more. The Super Saiyan God ritual was almost within reach.
But before that, he gazed down at Pan, who cooed in his arms.
"Let's get you back before your dad explodes."
After saying that, before the trio could react, Luya flicked his fingers, and a ripple of ki pressure knocked them all straight out of the air!
"Waaahhh—!"
CRASH!
Pilaf, Shu, and Mai tumbled headfirst into the treetops and ended up dangling from the branches, unconscious.
Luya didn't even look back. He knew they weren't seriously injured.
Instead, he looked down at Pan (Xiaofang) in his arms and grimaced. "Wait… did you…?" He sniffed slightly and frowned deeper.
"Yeah, you definitely pooped."
"Bahh bah bah!" Pan giggled innocently, completely unconcerned. Her tiny hands reached out and grabbed Luya's face, patting and squishing it like a ball of mochi.
"Okay, okay. You win," Luya smiled helplessly. "Let's get you home before your grandpa explodes."
With a soft shimmer of blue light, Luya used Instant Transmission, vanishing from the scene.

Back on Earth – Gohan's House
Worry hung thick in the air.
Goku sat on the porch, his hair slightly disheveled. His expression was uncharacteristically serious.
Piccolo's fists were clenched, veins bulging on his temples. He was practically vibrating with fury.
Gohan sat beside Videl, gently patting her back as she wept silently. His own face was grim.
"WUKONG!"
Chi-Chi's voice was sharp and shrill. She jabbed him hard in the forehead. "This is all your fault! I trusted you to watch over Pan, and you fell asleep?!"
"I—I didn't mean to!" Goku muttered, wincing. "I thought she was asleep too… and I've been sick lately. I couldn't even sense her ki properly…"
His fists trembled slightly in frustration. Damn it… even I couldn't feel her aura. It's like I'm useless in this condition!
"Pan…" Videl murmured.
The moment stretched in silence—until—
"Yo!"
A familiar voice called out, and a flash of light revealed Luya standing calmly with Pan in his arms.
"PAN!!!" Videl screamed, leaping to her feet.
Everyone's heads snapped up. Gohan's heart skipped a beat. Even Piccolo's expression changed.
Videl rushed forward and practically snatched Pan into her arms, cradling her and crying openly.
Gohan followed close behind, hugging both of them. "You're safe… thank God…"
"Luya!" Goku stepped forward, blinking. "Why…? How did she end up with you?"
Luya shrugged. "Right after I left, this little troublemaker flew right up to me. Literally. She can fly, you know."
"What?!" Gohan blinked.
"She didn't go far. But I sensed her ki going up, and next thing I knew, she'd hijacked a flying robot and was in orbit."
"What—IN ORBIT?!" Piccolo's eye twitched violently.
"If I hadn't caught her in time, she might've ended up floating into space," Luya added casually. "She's got some wild potential."
Everyone was stunned. Even Goku's jaw dropped slightly.
"Thanks, Luya," Gohan said, bowing respectfully. "If you hadn't stepped in…"
"You really saved us." Piccolo's voice was quiet, but sincere.
"It's nothing," Luya replied with a wave. Then he turned to Videl and added, "By the way, you might wanna change her diaper."
"H-Huh?" Videl blinked, then suddenly smelled something. Her face turned red. "O-Oh! R-Right!"
She rushed inside with Pan, still blushing.
Goku scratched his head. "Man… Pan's really growing up fast. Already flying off on her own…"
"You're one to talk!" Chi-Chi snapped. "If this happens again, I'm banning you from being near her!"
"Eh?! But I'm her grandpa!"
"You're a terrible grandpa!"
Goku laughed nervously and looked at Gohan for help.
Gohan sighed. "Mom, it's okay now. Let's just… calm down and eat something."
"Hmph!"
Chi-Chi snorted and stomped back into the house.
"Hey, Luya," Goku said, trying to change the subject. "Why not stay and eat with us? You helped us a lot today."
Gohan nodded. "It's the least we can do."
Piccolo, arms crossed, added with a rare smile: "You've earned a spot at the table."
"Well… if you insist," Luya replied with a grin.
Soon, they all gathered for dinner. The mood had lightened. Pan had taken a liking to Luya, even hugging his arm while eating her baby food. Everyone chuckled at the sight.
Afterward, Luya said his goodbyes and headed back.

Later That Night – Luya's Home
As he walked through the door, ready to take a shower, a system notification rang in his head.
