Elena brushed her hair and, under the pressure emanating from Lucas, she confessed with a whisper.
"Wasn't I brainwashed today? I was afraid that if you touch me, I won't be able to control myself… What should I do?"
Lucas had never choked before. His throat bobbed twice before he said slowly,
"I won't resist."
Elena froze, her cheeks turning crimson. She felt embarrassed and amused at the same time.
"You… Tsk… That's enough!"
Seeing how serious he was, Elena couldn't help but splutter.

Soon, the car arrived at the manor and both Lucas and Elena got out. To Elena's surprise, Lucas bent to lift her up. "We should go to sleep."
The smile on Elena's face disappeared and her hands instinctively hooked around Lucas's shoulders.
Lucas carried Elena back to the mansion.
