Sous slept like a baby when she got home. She didn't want to do anything but sleep in, so tired, she missed two days of work when getting back. Lucky for her, they were quite understanding especially since she was the top earner of the alchemy department.
"SIREEE!" Sous woke up to find her three Alpha children jumping on her bed one morning while she, herself, bounced around uncontrollably. "SIREE, SIREE, SIREE!!" They screamed at the Alpha.
"Alright, alright, I'm up," she groaned, throwing her feet over the bed. She stretched and yawned, realizing that she couldn't sleep forever.
She walked into the kitchen for a good smell of breakfast that consisted of toast, waffles, and eggs. She rubbed her stomach and kissed Kara on the cheek.
There was a letter on the table as she and the kids sat down to eat. Her face became white when she read the contents after opening the letter. Her children looked at her, asking her what was wrong.
Kara stopped what she was doing and walked to Sous, but the Alpha remained quiet. Even as Kara took the letter from her hand, she remained where she was. The Omega read the letter over and she too became white in face gulping.
Dear Mom and Sire,
I just want to let you know that things are going good for me. I realized my Atin isn't that good and adjusting to that was difficult. Arey is much easier to speak but maybe that's because I was born speaking it. I'm not sure why Sire doesn't speak to us in Atin when that's her first language. How many languages does Sire know? She knows Atin, Ench, and Arey. So thats three. Mommy, how many do you know? You know Arey and Atin too, and that's it. So two.
My stutter has gotten better. I rarely do it now thanks to Xeno. Xeno is amazing but as somewhat of a sad beginning. His dad is an Omega and...his dad's mate was killed by her own friend at Hacate. That's the school Sire went to. His father gave him up for adoption to another family. His father's name was Zan. Such an odd name but Xeno's name is also odd.
Xeno feels like an older brother to me. Its a weird feeling. He says I feel like a sister he never had. Well, gotta go. Love you!

That's where the letter ended. The adults still quiet. Sous' son- her son was alive and in Canas. How old was he now, 20 something just like Fednora?
"Sous," Kara whispered.
Sous got up from the table and walked to the hallway restroom. She closed the door and pinched her nose, sitting on the toilet. Zhiliary had two of her children, two of het children.
Her jaws clinched and she wiped her eyes, keeping herself steady. Zhiliary had two of her children was what she thought. She had the Omegas.
Sous swallowed. It wasn't her fault about Xeno...Xeno...his name was Xeno...? Sous had tried so hard while in prison to find him only for Zan to admit he had given him up for adoption.
She blew her nose and wadded up the tissue, throwing it in the waste basket. She splashed her face with some water and left out the restroom.
Sous smiled to Kara when the Omega walked to her. She gave Kara a weak smile and went back to the kitchen table.
"Eat up, Sire is fine," she said to her Alphas. "Sire is fine."
...
Later in the afternoon, Sous found herself outside chopping wood. She was bundled up like normal when she was outside in such harsh weather. They actually didn't need any wood but she just needed to think, needed to process what she had read that morning.
She threw the ax to the side and sat on the stump, and sighed.
Crunch, crunch, crunch!
Sous looked up and saw Tany walking toward her.
"Tan-"
WHOOSH!
Tany threw out her arm and sent Sous flying back into the snow. She came to a stop and saw Tany walking up to her. Sous was having many days like this, days where she felt defeated.
She stood to her feet-
SLAP!
Sous' cheek burned, blood began to spill from her nose. She turned slowly to face her ex-mate.
"Where is the relic?" Tany asked, her eyes burning with fury.
"I don't know-"
WHOOSH!
Sous was sent back flying once more and landed even harder on the ground. Tany flew to her and placed her heel onto Sous' face. "What have you done?" She whispered to the Alpha. Sous puffed out some snow from her face, breathing heavily.
"UGH!"
Sous no longer felt Tany there. She got up to see Kara standing before her while Tany was landing softly on the ground. The witch glared at them.
"Find that relic, Sous!" Tany demanded before disappearing from their sight.
