As the camera focused on the girls, Nian and Xuanye smiled at the lens.
"Hello, everyone! Today on this show, we're going to interview the most popular K-pop group—Seventeen!"
They clapped their hands, and the camera turned to the members.
Scoups stepped forward and introduced,
"Say the name, Seventeen! Hello, CARATs~"
The boys beamed happily and waved at the camera.
Xuanye asked, "Guys, please introduce yourselves one by one."
The members nodded and went in order:
Scoups: "I'm Scoups, the leader of Seventeen."
Jeonghan: "I'm Yoon Jeonghan, the angel of CARATs and the vice-leader of Seventeen."
Mingyu: "Hello~ I'm Mingyu," he said, blushing slightly as he waved.
Hoshi: "I'm Hoshi, the performance leader of Seventeen," and he gave his signature Horanghae.
Boo: "I'm Boo Seungkwan!" he waved brightly.
Dino: "I'm Dino, the maknae of Seventeen."
Joshua: "I'm Joshua Hong, the gentleman of Seventeen."
(The boys clapped and echoed a united "Waa~")
Wonwoo: "I'm Wonwoo, the calm and handsome one."
Jun: "I'm Wen Junhui," he said, forming a heart.
Vernon: "I'm Vernon," he smiled.
Woozi: "I'm Woozi, the producer of Seventeen."
DK: He looked directly at Nian and said, "I'm Lee Seokmin~ your happy virus and Sunshine Loudie, also the leader of BSS~"
The boys burst out laughing, staring at DK in disbelief, while he blushed over Nian. Xuanye gently tapped Nian, both of them trying not to laugh.
Minghao: "I'm The8—or Minghao. You can call me Flutterhao~" he added with a smile.
The girls pinched their legs to stop from squealing.
Nian asked, "Thanks for giving us your time for this interview! We know you just got back from your world tour in Japan. How did it go?"
Scoups answered, "Yes, we just returned, and the tour was amazing—we really enjoyed it."
Hoshi added, "After our concerts, we went shopping, took lots of pictures, and even bought gifts for our families."
The girls chuckled. "It looks like you really had fun."
Minghao looked straight at Xuanye. "Even though we enjoyed it... we missed our closest people. Seeing them now, I hope they're happy we're back."
The boys nodded. DK added dramatically, "We saw them… they cried… and now, I'm not even sure if they'll talk to us again."
Nian and Xuanye paused, side-eyeing each other.
Mingyu jumped in, "Our family is probably just mad we didn't message. We were so busy…"
The interview continued with chaos, laughter, and awkward blushes.
The director and producer watched from the corner, absolutely fangirling.
Producer: "Sir… I have butterflies listening to them."
Director: "The way they talk—it's like they've known the girls forever."
Zheng, meanwhile, clutched his chest like he had heartburn. "I thought I'd help hide their relationship… but these guys are just openly showing it."
After the final question, the director shouted, "Cut!" and stood up clapping.
"Girls, you nailed it! That was amazing!"
The girls removed their mics and smiled.
The boys clapped with pride, and Scoups said, "We'll treat everyone to food today for your hard work!"
Everyone cheered in unison.
DK tried to get Nian's attention while Minghao sent a flying kiss toward Xuanye. The girls blushed while the boys smirked proudly.
Zheng watched them and muttered, "I thought I had to protect their secrets… but they're already broadcasting it with their eyes."
When the food arrived, the boys helped serve it to staff. DK and Minghao specifically picked out boxes for the girls and walked over.
The girls were busy reviewing and editing the interview footage.
"Nian~ Ye~"
They turned to see their boyfriends standing beside them with lunchboxes in hand.
DK said sweetly, "Here. Eat this."
Nian smiled and replied, "Loudie~ Just give us a few minutes. We'll eat soon."
The girls returned to work.
DK and Minghao looked at each other, then at the empty chairs beside the girls.
They smiled, pulled them out, and sat beside them.
The rest of the members were blushing and kicking their legs.
Zheng glared. "Are you here for an interview or to watch a romantic drama?"
Dino pulled him to sit down. "Zheng, it's rare to see this. Just watch. Don't panic."
He handed Zheng a lunchbox. "Eat and enjoy the show."
Zheng sighed but smiled and took a bite.
Meanwhile, Nian noticed DK watching her and tried to hide her blush.
Xuanye saw Minghao covering his face with the lunchbox just to stare at her.
The girls turned toward them and said, "Give us the food and go eat."
They handed over the boxes and walked away—only to come right back with their own meals and sit beside the girls again.
Xuanye narrowed her eyes. "Are you trying to get smacked? This is a media company, not your dorm."
Minghao smiled. "We don't care, Ye. We'll eat with you."
DK nodded. "I want to make up for the two months I missed."
Nian softened and smiled.
The boys watched like proud brothers, grinning ear to ear.
Zheng whispered, "These two will make good husbands one day…" and continued eating.
DK used his chopsticks to pick out meat and feed it to Nian. "Eat this~"
She blushed and took a bite.
Xuanye looked at Minghao and asked softly, "Did you eat well during the concerts?"
He raised his hand. "Look! Like you said, my hands are chubbier now. So stop worrying and eat."
The girls looked at each other and smiled.
After everything, those two months of waiting…were absolutely worth it.
