Chapter 70 - [70]. Displaying True Power

Hmph! I'm not talking to you anymore, little brat!"

Philiya huffed coldly, flicked her wrist, and turned to leave.

"Then I'll talk to you instead, Kaso-nii!"

Ausbi'er zipped up from below, wrapping her arms around Kaso's neck with a cute smile and squinting eyes.

As he watched Philiya's back vanish, Kaso gently ruffled the little girl's hair.

He didn't chase after Philiya.

Since Bardock hadn't objected to his announcement, that meant he'd tacitly approved it.

Kaso raised his voice again:

"Now that the duels have concluded—Team Garis earns 3 Senzu Beans, Team Kast gets 2, and Team Chris receives 1."

He paused, then added, "The training mission I mentioned will soon begin. Everyone, be mentally prepared. If there's nothing else—you're dismissed."

Then, turning to the older Saiyan:

"Uncle Bardock, come with me."

Kaso, still carrying Ausbi'er, flew off toward the horizon. Bardock followed right behind.

Back at the living sector's courtyard, Kaso laid out his plan in full.

Even though Frieza wasn't all that committed to exterminating the Saiyans, it was still unwise to parade around the universe openly.

All Saiyans who left Sadala were to hide their tails.

As long as Frieza himself didn't step in, his subordinates weren't nearly strong enough to pose a threat.

This point was non-negotiable.

Kaso also brought up another practical concern:

With Sadala's rapid development, each region now had vital roles—from agriculture to science to combat. The Lolita Clan alone didn't have enough manpower to sustain the tech infrastructure they'd built.

With only ten squads, the Saiyans couldn't all leave at once.

Some had to stay to help run the planet.

Especially the Senzu fields in the far north—that miracle crop was now a cornerstone of the Saiyan-Lolita alliance, and any accidents there would be catastrophic.

"Uncle Bardock, do you have anything to add?"

"You're in charge. But tell me—what's the real reason you want our people out there?"

Bardock crossed his arms, narrowing his eyes.

This kid always had a motive. There had to be more to it.

Kaso looked at him flatly.

"In the last year, our population has exploded, and Sadala's resources are running dry. You expect me to keep 'borrowing' everything we need forever?"

Bardock scratched his head awkwardly.

It was true—at first, with only 400 or so Saiyans and Lolitas, Sadala's upgrades were manageable. Kaso could go out and acquire resources on his own.

But with growing demand—and with Kaso himself needing time to train—he couldn't keep doing it alone.

The real reason Kaso wanted Saiyans out in the universe was simple:

He wanted them to start earning their own keep.

"Yeah… we've really leaned on you this past year," Bardock muttered, somewhat embarrassed.

He had underestimated how much effort Kaso had put in. The kid had never complained.

Kaso waved it off and said, "Send out Team Garis and Team Kast first. Let them scope the universe and bring back intel."

"Alright," Bardock nodded.

Aside from himself, those two captains were the strongest among the Saiyans. With them working together, Bardock wasn't worried about safety.

"Oh, and there's a planet not too far from here—loaded with cash. I 'borrowed' from them last time. I'll give you the star coordinates."

"Alright, set the schedule. Just make sure they bring back resources."

Kaso waved lazily and shot into the sky.

"…Brat." Bardock smiled, shaking his head.

Kaso soared above Sadala, passing over each zone. The borders were clear:

The Ecological Sector preserved Sadala's original beauty—ancient trees, sweeping plains, untouched nature.

The Research Sector was filled with gray-silver dome-shaped buildings, similar to Capsule Corp's architecture on Earth.

And that was where Kaso headed now.

"Good day, Lord Kaso!"

"Kaso-sama is soooo cute!"

Excited cries erupted below as a small figure descended from the sky.

Tap tap tap!

As soon as he landed, several tall, beautiful Lolita women ran up to him, their soft white hands rubbing his hair.

After a year of living together, they'd grown close. They knew Kaso wasn't a stuck-up noble type and could take a joke—so they had no problem playfully teasing him.

At just over a meter tall, Kaso looked like a plush toy standing among these gorgeous, long-legged women. Their soft fragrance lingered in the air.

Kaso was starting to get… distracted.

But then—

"What do you think you're doing?!"

Philiya's voice snapped like a whip from the entrance.

"It's Lady Philiya! Scatter!!"

In an instant, the girls vanished like frightened rabbits.

"…Damn," Kaso muttered.

He hadn't gotten to enjoy it yet.

"This is your fault," Philiya scolded, rolling her eyes.

"If you weren't so shameless all the time, they wouldn't be this undisciplined!"

Kaso just looked up and grinned. "Not mad anymore?"

Philiya didn't respond. She turned and walked back into the lab.

Inside, she glared at the Universal Capsule on her desk.

That damn brat—he's all gentle with those girls, but when it comes to me, he's a total iceberg!

Kaso followed her inside and leaned against the doorframe.

"Do you really think I'd gamble the fate of both the Saiyans and Lolitas for fun?"

"…You'd better not."

Philiya gritted her teeth.

From her perspective, Kaso was being reckless. He knew how dangerous Frieza's forces were—he'd just witnessed the destruction of Planet Vegeta a year ago.

With Sadala's environment and training tech, the Saiyans would inevitably grow strong. Why not wait until someone reached the legendary transformation before venturing out?

Just thinking about it made her furious.

But before she could retort—

"Come with me."

In a flash, a dark blur passed her.

Before Philiya could react, Kaso had appeared at her side—and then the two vanished.

Near a massive cyan planet, not far from Sadala.

On a grassy plain—

"Where did you take me?!" Philiya glared, face full of suspicion.

"To show you something."

"…Huh?"

Kaso turned to her with a serious look.

As the new leader of the Lolita Clan, she needed to be reassured. If she didn't trust him, the bond between their races could fracture.

"Don't blink."

Kaso's voice was calm—but something in it made the air instantly tense.

The sky twisted.

The pressure around them surged like a hundredfold gravity field pressing down on the world.

Philiya's eyes widened—

She couldn't breathe properly.

Kaso's aura was building—and it was terrifying.

Like a slumbering volcano about to awaken.
