Chapter 65 - [65]. The Hyperbolic Time Chamber

Far from Earth, in the vastness of space, a colossal upside-down purple pyramid floated silently in the void. Covered in all kinds of glowing blue flora and shrouded in a divine, sacred aura, this was the Realm of the God of Destruction.

After more than twenty minutes, Whis finally brought Beerus back home.

"Lord Beerus, how was that meal?"

"…Just so-so," Beerus grumbled.

"Then shall we go to Earth again next time?"

"Go."

Without even looking back, Beerus answered decisively with a single word.

Whis chuckled behind his hand. Beerus's stubborn pride wasn't anything new.

But really… Earth's food was delicious.

As the God of Destruction, Beerus's job was to periodically destroy underperforming planets—otherwise, such "garbage planets" would drag down the universe's average strength.

Other universes' Destroyers took their duties seriously, faithfully carrying out their work. Only Universe 7's Beerus was lazy to the extreme.

Watching Beerus walk off, Whis smiled helplessly. As expected, he'd probably head straight back to the palace for another round of deep sleep.

Who knew how long this nap would last?

Just as Beerus was about to step into the temple, Whis casually asked:

"Lord Beerus, what did you think of that little girl just now?"

Beerus paused, foot hovering at the threshold.

After a beat, he lowered it back down.

"She's… interesting," he said seriously.

Then he stepped into the palace—and into sleep.

At Bulma's house.

Kaso stood with a deadpan face and said to Bulma, "Bulma, it's been a whole year… and you've only built up this much energy?"

Bulma shrank her head a little, looking exactly like Kaso had moments ago when she was scolding him.

Truly—what goes around comes around.

Looking at Kaso's poker face, Bulma felt indignant. She'd trained really hard! She'd even used three Senzu Beans!

And now she was incredibly strong—able to lift massive machines at home with one hand. She'd even caught some street robbers by herself!

Why couldn't this jerk just praise her for once?!

Bulma cursed Kaso silently.

Seeing her puffed-up cheeks and wronged expression, Kaso felt a little awkward. He hadn't meant to scold her for real—he just wanted to change the subject.

Who knew that yelling at people could be so addictive?

Still, Bulma's talent really was impressive. Sensing her energy, Kaso estimated her current battle power was around 30.

If she could train up to 80 or more, she'd be ready to start learning to manipulate her inner energy—just like Videl had in the original series.

Once she reached that stage, her dream of flying would soon become a reality.

"Keep training. You'll be flying in no time," Kaso said casually, not knowing how else to comfort her.

"Really!?"

"Really."

"Oh yeah!!"

The moment he confirmed it, Bulma lit up like a sparkler. She bounced up so hard she nearly hit the ceiling.

Kaso chuckled internally.

"Such a kid…"

But right now, he was in a fantastic mood. The Saiyans' biggest threat—Beerus—had been dealt with. Now it was time to focus on their next major enemy: the Frieza Clan.

That clan had only three members: Frieza, Cooler, and King Cold.

Each one was terrifyingly strong—stronger than the last.

In the anime, Cooler's first appearance showed him already having a final form of 470 million battle power—far stronger than his brother, Frieza. And by his second appearance, he had broken through to an estimated 10 billion!

As for King Cold, he'd arrived on Earth with Frieza. Vegeta once remarked that Cold's aura was at least ten times stronger than Frieza's—which would put him at a minimum of 1.5 billion.

But despite knowing all this, Kaso wasn't intimidated. In fact, his blood was boiling.

Maybe that's just the Saiyan blood talking.

"Bulma, you've used three Senzu Beans already, right? Here, I'll give you three more to replenish your stash. That'll make it a total of ten."

Kaso had originally planned this trip to Earth not just to visit—but to access the Hyperbolic Time Chamber in the Heavenly Realm.

Now that the Saiyan crisis had been averted, it was finally time.

The Hyperbolic Time Chamber, located atop the Lookout, was a legendary training room where one year inside equaled only one day in the outside world. It was a golden opportunity for anyone seeking rapid power growth.

In the anime, the Z Fighters had used the chamber to rapidly increase their strength in preparation for powerful enemies.

It had plenty of food, water, and space. The air was thin and the environment harsh—with scorching heat up to 50°C and bitter cold down to -40°C. Gravity was 10x that of Earth, and the interior space was practically endless.

But it wasn't without drawbacks—a person could only enter the chamber for two days in their entire life. Any longer, and the exit would vanish, trapping them inside forever.

Of course, exceptions existed—people like Majin Buu or Gotenks had enough power to break the dimensional barriers and escape.

"You're leaving again?" Bulma said with wide eyes.

Over the past year, every time she trained, she thought of Kaso's annoying face. And now that she was finally seeing him again, he was already planning to leave?

So he came here just to make her pay for dinner!?

Scumbag!

"Train well, little one," Kaso said, turning away.

"Train hard, Little Bulma~" Ausbi'er added, puffing her cheeks and giving a pouty farewell.

In the blink of an eye, the two vanished.

The Lookout.

Shwip!

Two small figures appeared on the platform—Kaso and Ausbi'er.

They had just arrived when a voice came from behind.

"You two—what brings you here?"

"Who's there!?"

Kaso had learned energy sensing two years ago, and he had only detected the Kami's presence on the Lookout—no one else. This voice startled him, and he spun around.

"It's Mr. Popo," Ausbi'er said, tugging on his sleeve.

"Oh—it's just Mr. Popo."

Kaso wiped the cold sweat from his forehead.

Mr. Popo was as mysterious as ever. The fact that he could silently appear without Kaso noticing didn't surprise him at all.

"Why have you come?" Popo repeated, expressionless.

"We'd like to use the Hyperbolic Time Chamber," Kaso answered directly.

Normally, Kaso would've tried to be a little more polite when asking to borrow something so sacred. But with a being as enigmatic as Popo, he figured it was best to be blunt and honest.

"Alright."

Popo didn't ask how Kaso knew about the Time Chamber.

He didn't question how Kaso knew its purpose either.

He simply nodded flatly.

"…Huh?"

Kaso turned to Ausbi'er, blinking in confusion.

He was expecting at least some resistance—especially with someone like Mr. Popo guarding the place.

In fact, if the Lookout were only protected by Kami, it would've been easy for Kaso to request access. But Mr. Popo was a complete wild card—a being whose true strength was still a mystery.

Even if Kaso tried to storm the Lookout by force, he figured Popo still might not do anything.

But to be let in this easily?

That was unexpected.
