[Maturity Warning]
Now, this one isn't a date story chapter like the others, this is more just Nova trying to make her new arm, along with some fluff, and spice of course. :3

"Well, this is annoying." said Nova, sitting in her workroom trying to make herself a new arm but had just found out that she was low on materials to make one. "I must have used most of the materials on my two new weapons, since I hardly have anything left to use here."
Nova tapped her fingers on the workbench as she let out a heavy sigh. "If Kai hadn't gone behind my fucking back, and used up pretty much all of my money on my and Lloyd's second date. I'd be able to buy myself some more materials." She glanced over at her arm made of darkness that she had once again gotten wrapped up in some bandages so it would look less scary around others.
"Hmmm, looks like Delta is gonna have to get back into business, while I can't use my elemental powers doesn't mean I haven't been able to work around that before, though just a little more difficult." Nova got up from her chair and went over to a closet, trying to see if she could find herself something to wear when she snuck out for the night.
"Please tell me you aren't doing, what I think you are doing." said Lloyd leaning against the doorframe with arms crossed and a raised eyebrow at her.
Nova looked over her shoulder at Lloyd when she heard his voice and she simply rolled her eyes. "Well, what do you think I'm doing?" She kept looking through her closet as she noticed a cape she could maybe use.
"You're planning on going out in the middle of the night while the rest of us are asleep, and head to Ninjago City and rob the bank, again." Lloyd walked into the room and over to her, wrapping his arms around her, pulling her against his chest and away from the closet.
"I don't know what you're talking about, I was simply looking for some more materials for my new arm." said Nova rolling her eyes as she tried getting out of his hold on her, but couldn't as he was holding her firming in his arms.
"Ocea, I know you better than anyone and we both know that is a lie." Lloyd held her close and gently began kissing the back of her neck. "Even if I hadn't noticed it now, I'll have caught on when you aren't laying in the bed with me."
Nova's face was turning red as she tried holding back a moan. "I wouldn't need to steal anything if Kai hadn't used my money in the first place." She pouted, still pissed off about it. When she finally found out about it she was so pissed off that she not only sent the lightning chicken after Kai, but also beat him up like a dummy when the team was training. By the time she was done with him, he could hardly move, let alone play any video games from weeks.
"Stolen money, and I don't think Kai deserved all that beating. If he hadn't done that for our second date, we might not have gotten this close as we are now, let alone us sleeping together." Lloyd smiled down at her as he kissed the back of her ear and had a hand move under her gi and ran it over the upper part of her body.
Nova still kept pouting as she crossed her arms and had her back lean against his chest since he wasn't gonna let her go anyway. "W-whatever, it was still my money and now I don't have any to use to buy more materials."
"Why not ask Pixal, or even Borg if they have any materials that you can use? I'm sure they wouldn't mind giving you some without you needing to steal anything." Lloyd suggested while having his hand caressing her body.
"But I wanna steal something, I haven't stolen anything for a while and I'm craving it so badly." Nova complained in annoyance.
"Hmmm, then why don't you steal the fun for us tonight? I could send the others out to scout the city, and I'm sure Sensei Wu wouldn't mind helping my mother, as she did mention she was going to explore something." Lloyd suggested kissing the top of her head.
Nova rolled her eyes as she gently elbowed him in the stomach, causing him to finally let go of her. "You're just saying this because I've been locked in here for the past few days, and you miss having me sleeping in the bed with you." She walked back over to her workbench and took another look at her blueprint of her arm prototype.
Lloyd let out a soft chuckle as he rubbed his stomach before closing the closet for her. "Can you blame me? You have been a little distance since we returned from Shintaro, you don't even come back to bed to sleep. Mostly you just stay in here working on a new arm and hardly get any sleep by the look in your eyes." He walked over to take a look at the blueprint she had made of her new arm.
".....Greenie, it took me at least three days to finally be able to walk without using my crutches to get around, and I can only keep my right arm stable for a limited time before it starts turning back into smoke leaking out." Nova let out a heavy sigh.
"I just wanna be able to help.....and yet I'm stuck here for my own safety." Nova turned to glare over at him. "By your orders as the leader of this team. But as your girlfriend I should still have my say and go where I wanna go without having someone keeping an eye on me all the time."
Lloyd let out a sigh while running his fingers through his hair. "Ocea, you had a complete breakdown back in the caves at Shintaro. You could hardly move and were scared to the point of not being able to speak." He gave her a concerned look. "You were in no state to even fight, if you had been hit even once you'd have been taken down."
Lloyd went on to pull her into a hug. "I couldn't take that chance of anything else happening to you, not after having lost your arm." He looked down into her eyes with the worry of something happening to her. "You've been through so much already, moonie, and you know how I feel about losing you again."
Nova let out a sad sigh, understanding where he was coming from with all of this. "But I'm not some weak princess that can't protect herself, let alone put up a fight." She slowly wrapped her arms around him. "So stop looking at me as some fragile flower that is gonna break at any second."
"But you are fragile Nova, we all are in one way or another. Even me as you know." Lloyd rested his forehead against hers. "Showing you are fragile is a hard thing to do, as we all put up a strong guard to protect ourselves and our hearts from not getting hurt by someone."
"You're talking about when you fell for Harumi, and how she broke your fragile heart when she turned out to be the Quiet One and tricked you into falling for her." Nova stared into his eyes, and could easily see the small shift in them when she mentioned Harumi.
Lloyd let out a soft chuckle, though there was a small hint of sadness in it. "Always the sharp one, aren't you Ocea."
"If anyone here is the sharp one, it's you greenie. Even when we were kids you would catch on to what I was scheming or when I was lying. Even now you easily caught on to me planning to rob a bank." Nova giggled softly at those old memories along with where they were now.
"Well you aren't that hard to read, after spending a good enough time together." Lloyd smiled and placed his lips against hers as he kissed her.
Nova returned the smile along with her kiss before pulling away. "I'll return to sleeping with you tonight, so you can stop whining about it and get back to doing your job, green ninja." She smiled as she got out of the hug and put her focus back on her blueprint.
Lloyd chuckles as he rolled his eyes playfully at her. "Alright purple ninja, but you better not try any stealing from the bank. Otherwise we are gonna have some problems." He placed a deep kiss on the back of her neck causing a small moan to escape from her before he left the room.
Nova placed a hand on the back of her neck, a slight blush on her face. "Sneaky bastard." She took her attention back to her blueprint with a small sigh. "Well, he did say that I couldn't steal from the bank. But nothing about having another do it." A smirk grew on her face as she pulled out her phone. "He better be in a good mood for sharing, or I'm gonna go back and make his life a living hell again...which reminds me, did he ever get that lost, cursed alarm clock back?"
Shaking her head, Nova tapped in a number on her phone and waited for the person to pick up the call.
"Ronin here, what can I do for you. Unless you are calling for something that belongs to you then you've got the wrong number."
*2 hours later.*
"So, shrimp. I've seen you've been busy these days with the ninja, though I must say what happened to your arm for it to be in bandages?" Ronin questioned as Nova had gone on to take a ride in his airship without the ninja knowing.
"Did something stupid, and now I need a new arm." said Nova as she was working on something with her mask.
Ronin gave her a questionable look, raising an eyebrow at her. "Your arm looks fine to me, don't see why you'd need a new one."
Nova bit at her lower lip thinking about whatever she should tell him or not before letting out a sigh. "I cut off my arm, and what you are seeing right now is just my darkness that I've been able to form into a solid form.....but I can't keep it like this forever."
"That isn't stupid kid, that's crazy!" shouted Ronin at her, more in anger than shock.
"I didn't have a choice, old man, I was stuck under some rocks and could hardly move." Nova looked up from working on her mask.
"You have powers shrimp, even weapons you made yourself. Maybe try using that brain of yours before you go and do the extreme, by cutting off your arm as your first option." Ronin let out a sigh in frustration.
"My powers are unstable, you don't think I wouldn't have tried that in the first place!" Nova growled angrily at him. "Whenever I start using my powers I feel pain and get more cracks on me!"
"If not your powers, then you should've least used your weapons that you've made. Or did your time with the ninja make you stop thinking of a plan?" Ronin questioned as they were getting closer to Ninjago City by now.
"My weapons wouldn't have done much, maybe my blaster but I need to use two hands to use it." Nova pouted ever so slightly as she let out a sigh.
Ronin let out an annoyed sigh. "I leave you alone for a good one year, and you become a nervous wreck that stops using your brain." He landed his airship at a good distance from anyone to notice. "Alright, I'll take the bank but remember the deal shrimp. I get 70% of the money while you get the 30% of it."
"Hey! That wasn't the deal at all old man!" Nova growled at him, putting her earrings back on. "The deal was that you'll get 55% while I get 45% of the money, don't forget I still have that file of everything you've done after the oni was defeated."
Ronin simply raised his hands in defeat. "Just making sure you aren't getting rusty with making deals by being around those ninja, let alone your boyfriend." A teasing smirk grew on his face.
Nova rolled her eyes with a sigh, though a small blush grew on her face. "Just shut up and do what I asked from you Ronin, otherwise you can forget about your share of the money."
"Fine, fine, but what are you gonna do while I do your dirty work, missy?" Ronin questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Nova teased before turning on her mask along with her finally fixed voice changer. [robotic] "Can't reveal all of my cards, otherwise what kind of thief would I be?"
"You better not bring the law with you back here, shrimp, otherwise I'm taking all the money." Ronin warned her, but didn't really mean it.
Nova rolled her eyes before jumping out of the airship and using her one grappling hook on her left arm, as she couldn't use her right one anymore since she couldn't keep her right arm solid forever.
"One of these abandoned storage houses would be keeping some of the vengestones Harumi is smuggling around, while I'm not sure how much use it has for me. I might as well give it a try." Nova pushed some buttons on her mask as her vision changed to see heat signatures through the walls.
Nova landed on the roof of one of the storage houses and took a look through one of the windows. Checking to see what would be the best course of action to take without being caught.
"Hmmm, looks like the west wing is the safest route to take, the fewer people the easier." Nova opened the window and snuck into the building, walking on one of the support beams while staying in the shadows.
Nova kept walking on the support beams until she was above an open crate with vengestones in it.
"Okay, I'm just gonna grab one to see what happens without being caught, easy peace. Besides, they aren't really gonna notice a difference." Nova did a double check to make sure it was safe along with seeing that there weren't any cameras before she locked her grappling hook to the support beam and slowly started lowering herself down to the crate.
Nova grabbed one vengestone with her right hand and quickly but quietly got herself back up on the support beam.
"Alright, time to test this." Nova removed the bandages on her right arm so her arm made of darkness was in full view. She then went on to hold the vengestone in her hand and took a deep breath as she focused her darkness on to the vengestone in her hand.
For a moment she couldn't feel much but after a few minutes, she felt her darkness consume the vengestone and it gave her a surge of energy as if the energy she lost back at the caves had returned to her. Along with the feeling of her darkness feels more balanced and in control. "Huh, well would you look at that. Looks like I've found the main material for my new arm, now how am I gonna steal a good amount of these vengestones let alone hide it from ninja?"
"I see you're using my vengestones for your own use my child.~" said the Overlord, catching Nova off guard as she almost fell off the support beam.
"Shut up, I'll take anything that helps me." [robotic] Nova growled in a low tone so as to not get noticed.
"Being weak and powerless to not help, what a shame. But if you simply accepted my help I could give you so much more.~" While he didn't have a psychical form, Nova could easily imagine a smirk on his face when he said that.
"Like hell I'd ever take help from you. If I did do that you'd simply have me join you, which I never will." [robotic] Nova tried putting her focus back on making a plan to how she was gonna steal some of the vengestones, while calming her beating heart from the fear rising by listening to his voice.
"The vengestone will only help you so much but not forever. If you plan to keep yourself staying alive longer instead of your life force slowly slipping away every second. I'm the only one who can save you, let alone fix up all of your cracks along with your lost arm and eye.~" said the Overlord in a cold tone. "Wouldn't want to worry your dear green ninja about you slowly dying now, would we?~"
Nova let out a low growl as her eyes were switching between blue, purple and pink as she tried controlling herself. "You leave Lloyd out of this b̴̥̊a̷͈͋s̷̻̘͐͘ẗ̶̜́̓a̶̿͜r̴̨̞͆d̴̖̻̒̚!̷̛͔̇" [robotic] She looked at her cape as she got an idea.
"I wonder how he'll take it if he knew about your condition, my little shadow.~" The Overlord chuckled at the thought of it as he left her alone once again.
Nova summoned one of her blades and cut off part of her cape and used the grappling hook to lower herself back down to the crate and began picking up some of the vengestones until she had a good amount and went on to close and tie up her now handmade bag or sack whatever you wanna call it.
Nova took a quick look around before getting back on the support beams and went back to the window she came in at and easily snuck herself out of the building without any trouble.
"Hopefully Ronin was able to get enough money from the bank." Nova made sure the bag of vengestone she was carrying was tied enough before she went on to use her speed boost and double jump along with her grappling hook to get back to the airship.
*At the airship.*
"What took you so long shrimp? I've waited for at least 15 minutes until you finally showed up. Don't tell me that you got caught by the law." said Ronin with his arms crossed over his chest while leaning against the back of the pilot chair.
Nova rolled her eyes before turning off her mask. "You wish old man, but no, the law didn't catch me like they never does. I was just busy getting what I could without being caught." She holds up her handmade bag. "But I hope you were able to get enough money without getting caught."
Ronin let out a sarcastic laugh at her comment. "Don't get cocky with me shrimp, or have you forgotten who even taught you how to steal stuff without the law catching on to you?"
"So how much money did you get, old man?" Nova questioned with a small sigh.
"Enough to keep our deal, now take your share. After that I'm leaving you at the ground level of that old place you're living at." Ronin went on to get in the pilot seat and started up the airship and headed towards the monastery.
A small smile grew on Nova's face. "Thanks old man." She went on to take her share of the money before then going on to sit down by the shadows in the airship. She looked at her right hand as she could still feel the energy in her. "I wonder...." She raised her hand and tried to focus on the shadows.
Nova could still feel a small bit of pain in her chest but not as bad as the other times when a little shadow clone the size of a doll, came out from the shadows along with a few others that already knew their orders as they grabbed the bag with vengestone in it.
"Looks like by letting my darkness consume vengestone helps keep my powers stable, at least for a while. I'm gonna be very busy making a good enough arm that can contain my darkness along with hiding the fact I'm using vengestone." Nova began planning up some ideas on how to make an arm that could hide the vengestone parts along with keeping her darkness in control.
She had the shadow clones take the bag of vengestones into the shadows as a way to hide it from everyone else.
*At the Monastery.*
"Thanks for the ride, along with the money Ronin. You were a very big help." said Nova with a big grin on her face.
Ronin rolled his eyes but had a small smile on his face. "Don't think I'm gonna do your dirty work again shrimp. Next time you want money go and steal it yourself."
"It was nice working with you again Ronin, really I mean it.....I missed it old man." Nova gave him a soft smile.
Ronin let out a chuckle before pulling her into a hug. "Same here, but really. Don't get yourself into any more trouble Nova." He pulled away before getting back in his airship and started flying away.
Nova shook her head while still having a smile on her face. "He calls me rusty, and yet he didn't even notice me stealing his wallet. I'm starting to believe he is the one rusty here." She giggled to herself holding Ronin's wallet with the rest of the money he stole for her.
Nova walked up the rest of the stairs up to the monastery and easily snuck into her workroom without being noticed, as she could hear the boys playing video games in the living room.
With a sigh Nova took off her torn off cape and put it in her closet before then going on to look over her blueprint of her arm and began making a few modifications to it.
Little did Nova know that Lloyd had caught on to her sneaking out and then having returned, but shook his head with a sigh as he let it slip this time as he took notice of her mood, seeming more cheerful by how focused she was on making a new arm.
"Looks like someone here is in a good mood." said Lloyd walking into the room.
Nova almost jumped when she heard Lloyd, turning her attention over to him. "Yeah, I took your suggestion into consideration, and called Borg asking for some materials he might have that I could use, along with asking Pixal for a bit of help."
"So you didn't steal anything today?" Lloyd questioned as he went on to take a look at her blueprint and some of the changes to her new arm.
"Nope, didn't steal anything. Not even from the bank even though I really wanted to." said Nova, taking her attention back to her blueprint. "But I was able to come up with some new ideas for my arm that I might change or even add."
"Well that's good news." Lloyd smiled, kissing her cheek. "But you've been pretty busy all day, it's already very late. Why not work on it tomorrow?"
Nova glanced over at him and then back at her blueprint thinking about it, before letting out a small sigh. "I guess it couldn't hurt getting some sleep, I did say I'll go back to sleeping with you tonight."
Lloyd smiled, wrapping his arms around her. "It would be nice sharing the bed together again, I've found it pretty cold without you by my side."
Nova giggled softly at him, rolling her eyes before looking up at him. "And I miss sleeping in your arms, greenie." She turned around to wrap her arms around his neck and pulled him into a kiss.
Lloyd happily returned the kiss before picking her up, bride style. "And I miss having you in my arms, butterfly." He carried her back to their bedroom while ignoring the sound of the others playing in the living room.
