"This is the ship where Vice Admiral Kuzan is stationed."

"Hurry! Hurry and tell Vice Admiral Kuzan! Officer Spandine is dead—we request support! Requesting immediate support!"

"What? Okay, don't hang up, I'll inform Vice Admiral Kuzan right away."

The marine who answered the call ran over to Kuzan in a panic.

At this moment, Kuzan had already stood up, his eyes fixed seriously in the direction of Ohara Island.

Even though he was lying on a lounge chair earlier, he had still heard the soldier's voice.

"V-Vice Admiral Kuzan, bad news—Spandine is dead. One of his close subordinates reported it."

As the marine spoke, he handed the Den Den Mushi (transponder snail) to Kuzan.

"This is Kuzan. Tell me exactly what happened."

"Vice Admiral Kuzan! We had just landed on the island and were preparing to evacuate the residents to the emergency ships when the infamous pirate Rayleigh suddenly appeared in front of us. Everyone passed out instantly. The two of us were slashed and knocked away in a single strike. When we came to, the officer was already dead!"

The orange-haired man was clearly shaken, speaking rapidly and filled with fear and panic.

After hanging up, Kuzan immediately contacted another Vice Admiral—this time, Borsalino.

"Bzzzzzzzzzzz Bzzzzzzz Bzzzzzz…"

"Hee~hello~ This is Borsalino speaking~"

"Borsalino, CP9 officer Spandine, was killed by Rayleigh. We're not sure if it's just Rayleigh, or if the entire Roger Pirates crew is on the island."

Hearing this, Borsalino's expression became slightly more serious. He straightened his posture.

"Dark King Silvers Rayleigh, well.. well... That's quite a surprise."

"What...!? Spandine was killed the moment he arrived on the island...?" The marine beside him broke into a cold sweat.

"Borsalino, prepare to land. I'll contact the others as well."

After hanging up, Borsalino put his hands in his pockets. "Let's move closer to the island."

"Yes, sir."

"Neh~ Silvers Rayleigh~ What a terrifying man, showing up here of all places~ I guess it's fate that we meet again~"

While his tone remained lazy, Borsalino's gaze as he looked toward Ohara was sharp and piercing.

"Vice Admiral Kuzan, no need to call everyone individually. You can use this Den Den Mushi to broadcast to all channels," a nearby soldier said.

"Oh, really? Then go ahead and set it up."

"Yes, sir." The soldier pulled out another Den Den Mushi and pressed a button.

"Bzzzzzzzzzzz.. Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..."

Once the call connected, Kuzan's tone turned notably serious.

"Spandine is dead—he was killed by Rayleigh. It's unclear if the Roger Pirates are on the island. Prepare to disembark."

After the call ended, the vice admirals were all shocked and began steering their ships toward the shores of Ohara.

Back to Reid's side:

Rayleigh returned to the group's hiding spot, carrying a severed head in his hand.

"Rayleigh, you're brutal! You actually cut his head off? That's Spandine, right?"

Flower Sword Vista exclaimed in surprise. Knowing Rayleigh well, he wasn't the kind to chop off heads for fun—killing the enemy was enough.

"Hah, I just used a bit too much force. Dead is dead—no need to fuss over the details."

Everyone's expressions turned strange after hearing that. "Used a bit too much force?"

If they knew Rayleigh had even used Conqueror's Haki coating, they'd probably all roll their eyes.

Reid was also startled—the bloody head was right in front of him. To be honest, he was still a bit scared. Killing someone for real was very different from just imagining it.

[Spandine: Chief of CP9, a covert intelligence agency under the World Government. Age: 40 (deceased)]

"So this is Spandine, huh? Truly a bunch of pirates—they're so used to bloodshed, not even flinching at a severed head. Some of them are even grinning... Still, since he was the enemy, it's fine. Both Spandine and his son are scum. Hmm... I'll need to take care of Spandam too one day."

Reid was deeply shaken—mainly by the gruesome sight—but a new resolve was also forming in his heart: he would kill Spandam.

"Hahaha, Rayleigh, did you get the Golden Den Den Mushi?"

"Right here," Rayleigh said, pulling out a Golden Den Den Mushi, which had a button on it…

Roger took the device and looked at it. "This thing is full of sin. The Celestial Dragons use it to order the Navy to carry out massacres. Pressing this button would activate the Buster Call."

Roger reached out, wanting to touch the button.

Smack! His head was knocked by Rayleigh.

"Idiot! I went through a lot to get that Golden Den Den Mushi. Don't do something stupid."

"Sorry, sorry…"

Everyone was speechless for a moment.

Whitebeard looked over, his expression grim. After all, the Buster Call was an indiscriminate attack—even more inhumane than some pirate massacres.

"Roger, destroy it."

"Alright." Roger tossed the Den Den Mushi into the air, drew his sword, and slashed it. The Golden Den Den Mushi was instantly destroyed.

"Huh? Was that the Mushi's flesh? So they really are living creatures." Reid looked at the remains on the ground, finally clearing up a lingering question in his heart.

After destroying the Golden Den Den Mushi, Roger looked toward the coastline.

"Hehehe, they're here. Looks like they've sent quite a few people."

"Ah~ everyone get ready. Let's prepare for a good slaughter!" Jabba had already pulled out two axes, grinning in anticipation.

"Gurararara! Roger, I bet we'll kill more Marines than you this time."

"Whitebeard, don't be so sure, heh heh." Roger grinned widely, clearly itching for battle.

"Men truly remain boys until death, huh…" Reid sighed, but deep down he couldn't help feeling excited too.

"Oh, right. The Vice Admirals sent this time should be Sakazuki (Akainu) and Kuzan (Aokiji). Sakazuki we can kill, but let Kuzan go."

"Oh? Reid, you said only Sakazuki and Kuzan? Then why do I sense more than just those two?" Rayleigh said, raising a brow.

"Really? Rayleigh, there are others?" Reid was surprised. He was pretty sure that during the original Ohara incident, only two Vice Admirals participated: Akainu and Aokiji.

"Yeah, I sense there are eight people in total. Could I be wrong…" Rayleigh knew about Reid's special ability, so he even began to question himself.

"Hahaha, if Rayleigh says there are eight, then there are eight. Many things can change."

Reid nodded. "True, you're right, Roger. History can change."

"How could this happen? They actually sent eight Vice Admirals this time. Even though they're called Vice Admirals, both Aokiji and Akainu already have Admiral-level strength. Roger is right—history changes. It was correct not to rush into investigating the Void Century before."

Reid now deeply felt the unpredictability of the situation.

On the other side, the eight Marine Vice Admirals arrived at the coast with a detachment of Marine soldiers.

"Officers! You're finally here! Commander Spandine… he… he's over there! You have to avenge him…"

The orange-haired man was wailing, while the silver-haired man beside him was crying as well.

"Hmph! Damn pirates! I'll turn you all to ash!" Sakazuki's fists erupted with magma, his body steaming.

"We should proceed with caution. Rayleigh may not be alone," Burning Mountain warned seriously.

"Why bother worrying? When the time comes, just press the Golden Den Den Mushi, and the Silver one on the ships will receive the signal to start bombing," Doberman said.

"By the way, where is the Golden Den Den Mushi?" Momonga asked seriously, turning to the two men.

"It should be on Commander Spandine…"

The orange-haired man ran over and searched Spandine's body. "Strange… it's not here…"

"No need to look. The pirates must've taken it. Idiots," Sakazuki growled, his eyes full of murderous intent and fists clenched tightly.

The orange-haired man bowed repeatedly. "I'm really sorry! Truly sorry! I should've checked earlier before notifying the Vice Admirals!"

The silver-haired man stood silently beside him, cold sweat pouring down his face.

"It doesn't matter. Rayleigh definitely took it. Even if you checked, it wouldn't change anything. We're already deployed with a full Buster Call unit. When the time comes, just contact the ships with the Den Den Mushi," said Onigumo. As he spoke, his thick, wild hair moved like eight spider legs, each gripping a sword.

"Let's go. Stick together—no splitting up. If you see a pirate, kill them on sight," Sakazuki declared, then took the lead.

The other seven followed closely behind.

A moment later—

"Whitebeard, the eight brats have arrived. Time to go," Roger said, shouldering his sword and stepping out.

"Hahahahahaha! Let's not waste time—wipe them out in one go!" Whitebeard said, stepping forward with Bisento in hand.
