"No, you all must leave this place. My life is running out, so I'll hold them back to give you time to escape." The Tree Elder shook her head resolutely. She didn't want these people to die trying to stop the impending enemies. Since she could control the forest, it was most suitable for her to be the one to block them, especially since she didn't have much time left.
"What? Tree Elder, your life is running out? What's going on?" Big Horn genuinely had no idea that the Tree Elder's life was limited. Not only Big Horn, but others looked at her in shock too. Everyone thought that because Tree Elder could control trees and had tree-like characteristics, she should live the longest. The forest trees, after all, can easily live for hundreds of years each!
