Jujutsu Kaisen, huh?
Staring at the surprised face of Kiyotaka Ijichi, Su Yang let out a quiet sigh.
Sigh...
First it was ghosts.
Now we're dealing with cursed spirits?
His mood dipped instantly.
Ghosts were annoying enough, but cursed spirits? Those things were seriously dangerous.
"Mr. Su Yang?"
Seeing that Su Yang remained silent but somehow looked like he already knew what was going on, Ijichi couldn't help but speak up.
"Are you saying my cargo was attacked by cursed spirits? Or are they targeting it specifically?" Su Yang asked directly, not bothering to beat around the bush.
Ijichi was visibly caught off guard. According to the intel they'd gathered, this man, though extremely wealthy, wasn't known to have any connection to the supernatural world.
The only possible link was through the Yukinoshita family, but based on their report, no occult knowledge had been shared with Su Yang.
Even so, Ijichi nodded right away. "Since you already know, I won't hide it. Yes, it appears your shipment has been targeted by several cursed spirits."
"But don't worry. Our people are already on it and will have it handled shortly."
Su Yang didn't respond. He brushed past Ijichi without a word and walked forward.
Before him was an empty lot, at least, that's what it looked like.
But then Su Yang's eyes warmed with energy. With a thin veil of chakra washing over his vision, the illusion peeled away.
A massive barrier structure came into view.
A veil?
"Mr. Su Yang, what do you think you're doing?" Ijichi's voice now carried a clear note of alarm.
"What else? I'm taking back what's mine."
And with that, Su Yang stepped right into the veil.
Ijichi moved to stop him, but it was already too late.
The moment he entered, Su Yang immediately felt the difference in atmosphere.
A strange, oppressive energy filled the air.
"Hey! Who the hell are you?! How did you get in here?"
A loud, impatient voice called out.
Yuji Itadori.
So he's already enrolled in Tokyo Jujutsu High?
Su Yang raised an eyebrow but didn't pay him much attention. His eyes drifted to the cargo ship docked not far away.
There, several grotesque creatures writhed and crawled, each one clearly inhuman.
Cursed spirits…
Meanwhile, atop the ship, Megumi Fushiguro, currently in the middle of a fight, spotted Su Yang and froze.
What the hell?
How did a regular civilian get in here?!
"Yuji, you idiot! Get that guy out of here, NOW!"
Megumi shouted.
Cursed spirits were no joke. A normal person couldn't survive their attacks, just breathing in the cursed energy in the air could make someone seriously ill.
"I got it, I got it. Geez, so noisy," Yuji muttered irritably, then turned to Su Yang. "Hey, uh, whoever you are… mind leaving?"
"Leave?"
Su Yang gave him a calm look. "Why should I leave? That ship… belongs to me."
"Wait, what?" Yuji froze, totally thrown off.
But Su Yang didn't wait for a reply.
He made his move.
Kamui.
His eyes flashed, the six-pointed star pattern of the Mangekyō Sharingan igniting. A pulse of devastating ocular power burst forth.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
[Cursed Spirit (Grade 4) eliminated, +100 Simulation Points]
[Cursed Spirit (Grade 3) eliminated, +1000 Simulation Points]
[Cursed Spirit (Grade 3) eliminated, +1000 Simulation Points]
To be honest, Su Yang had expected cursed spirits to yield points.
But this much?
He was not prepared for this.
The same-grade cursed spirits gave ten times more simulation points than ghosts!
That settled it, he was not leaving any behind.
Wherever his eyes landed, Kamui followed.
[Cursed Spirit (Grade 4) eliminated, +100]
[Cursed Spirit (Grade 4) eliminated, +100]
[Cursed Spirit (Grade 3) eliminated, +1000]
There were quite a few cursed spirits.
Sure, most were just low-grade riffraff, Grade 4s, basically the equivalent of punching bags. You could beat them with a baseball bat.
Even Grade 3s weren't much, just a step above, enough that a handgun could take care of them.
But to Su Yang? They were nothing.
Within moments, every cursed spirit had been wiped out.
His eyes started to sting slightly.
Su Yang sighed inwardly. Yup. Gotta find a way to unlock the Eternal Mangekyō soon.
"You… You can see those cursed spirits?!"
Yuji finally processed what had just happened. He stared wide-eyed at the man who had effortlessly obliterated the spirits that had given them trouble.
Megumi soon joined him, having noticed the abrupt disappearance of all cursed energy.
"Who are you?" Megumi demanded, narrowing his eyes.
He was stunned.
He sensed no cursed energy from Su Yang. And this wasn't just a case of hiding it, there was nothing.
Even the best cursed energy suppression technique couldn't completely conceal it while attacking.
But this guy?
He had no cursed energy, yet still managed to annihilate those cursed spirits.
"Does it matter who I am?" Su Yang replied calmly, walking toward the ship.
Sure, it had been a good haul…
But he never said he was done farming points.
The cargo had arrived. If it could still generate simulation points, he wasn't going to let it go to waste.
"Whoa… Who's this total hottie?"
A new voice cut in as Nobara Kugisaki finally caught up, her eyes sparkling.
"No idea," Yuji replied, glancing at Megumi. "Don't you know him?"
"Isn't he a sorcerer or something?"
"No… He's not a sorcerer," Megumi said quietly, shaking his head.
But a theory was forming in his mind.
Unlike Yuji, who was still new to this supernatural world, Megumi had a broader awareness.
He knew cursed spirits weren't the only unnatural beings out there. And sorcerers weren't the only ones who fought them.
The man before them,
, wasn't a sorcerer.
Didn't look like an exorcist.
And he clearly wasn't a shrine priest or onmyōji either.
Could he be…?
Megumi kept quiet, not voicing his suspicion.
For now, staying silent was the wisest choice.
