Chapter 134: Silent Tree
Seraph had lost consciousness, his senses stolen. Red-gray roots began to reshape Seraph's feet and arms, restoring them to their original form.
Seraph's arms and legs were replaced by roots.
Red spiritual energy was released, and a terrifying aura slowly began to build.
Seraph swung a punch at the cage. Boom!
The cage was destroyed. Seraph walked out of the cage, but there was another blood-red cage.
Feng Wen scanned Seraph walking towards the blood cage.
"It can't be helped. Something went wrong. Beetho, just keep doing that. I'll go in and deal with this cursed creature myself."
Feng Wen walked towards the cage.
A voice acknowledged Beetho rang out.
"Understood. Be careful, Master."
Feng Wen walked into the cage.
Seraph created a tree-sized, reddish-gray root that shot up and slammed into the bloody cage. Pew! Boom!
The red root prepared to destroy the cage.
Feng Wen approached and ran towards Seraph. Pew!
Seraph created a reddish-gray tree spear.
Seraph fired a tree spear, attacking towards Few!
Feng Wen charged forward, his expression unblinking. Feng Wen's right hand swung a punch towards the spear. Pew! Boom!
The tree spear was destroyed.
Feng Wen looked at his hand. There was only a small wound from the impact. "Hmm... Why is there an attack that can destroy my body? It's not an ordinary curse level."
Ten tree spears charged at high speed. Aiming at Feng Wen, woosh!
Feng Wen drew his own sword and held it in place, swung it, destroying the tree spear. Woosh! Boom! Boom!
Seraph pressed both hands against the ground.
The ground beneath him cracked open, and large roots shot towards Feng Wen. Boom!
Feng Wen infused his spirit energy into the blade.
The blade shone with a green glow.
Feng Wen's sword slashed through the tree, completely destroying Seraph's attack. Boom! Boom!
"Don't underestimate me, you cursed one. I don't know why you're taking over this child's body.
But don't even think about it."
Feng Wen charged straight towards him. Boom!
Seraph smiled. "Hmph... You think you can stop me, just a martial artist?"
Numerous roots on the ground shot up like a pile of black playing cards. Boom! Boom!
The surrounding area of the cage was attacked, leaving no safe spot to be found.
Feng Wen dodged the cards.
The cards on the floor couldn't even hit Feng Wen once.
Feng Wen looked toward the ceiling. A large tree root was facing him, and a red beam of light shot out. Boom!
"Shooting a beam of light?"
Feng Wen formed a green shield, absorbing the attack. It was a shield of spirit energy. Boom!
Feng Wen was forced back by the impact.
BOOM!
Feng Wen watched with a calm expression.
"It doesn't seem like it. It's a low-grade curse. You're lucky. That kid saved you in time, and his plan to destroy you was shelved. We'll seal you with this child first. When the preparations are complete, then it's your time to die.
Feng Wen turned to look at Beetho, who was preparing something.
Beetho took a deep breath.
"Then, I'll show you. The Curse Sealing Song."
Beetho began to play the flute. The sound was fierce at the same time as gentle.
Lines of green light flew around the cage, and ancient characters were traced along the green lines of light.
Words were written along the lines of light.
Seal.
A green light surrounded Seraph. Boom!
A green light wrapped around Seraph, sealing him.
Seraph was caught off guard by the attack from behind.
The green light gripped Seraph like a candy wrapper.
Seraph wore an angry expression, unable to fight back.
"You're so bold. Don't think I'm... Will be captured for a long time.
The word "seal" appeared on white paper, wrapping around Seraph's body.
The roots on Seraph's body were gradually being removed, leaving only the cursed staff, which was stuck in Seraph's stomach.
Seraph's eyes were tightly closed, wrapped in cloth like a caterpillar.
Leaving only his face exposed, Seraph could breathe.
Feng Wen walked towards Seraph, dismantling the protective barrier. "Dismantle it."
The blood barrier was removed.
Beetho sat there, gasping for air, having used up so much spiritual energy preparing to seal the curse.
Beetho sat on the ground, looking at Feng Wen, who was walking towards Seraph, with relief.
"It's a pretty scary curse. No, it's a normal curse. But what's annoying is that kid, he's trying to break the curse." Putting himself under another curse, huh?
Feng Wen walked up to Seraph.
"Is it really a low-grade curse?"
Feng Wen looked at the sleeping Seraph.
Feng Wen's right foot pressed against the ground.
Seraph opened his eyes, one of his blue eyes adorned with Seraph's smile.
"Found the right person."
Feng Wen's expression was filled with shock.
Feng Wen hurriedly ran towards Beetho with a hurried expression.
[This guy!?]
Beetho saw Feng Wen running towards him. [What?]
Feng Wen shouted in shock. "Run, Beetho!!"
As Feng Wen's voice rang out,
A figure appeared behind Beetho.
It was the shape of a pair of blue eyes. As large as Beetho's body, the roots were gray and reddish, forming a pattern.
Beetho couldn't hear the creature's surging out of the ground.
Beetho used his third skill, {Cage}. A green cage was created at high speed. Boom!
The cage, like a birdcage, imprisoned Beetho and created a protective barrier around it.
Blue eyes shot out at Beetho. Boom!
A blue root pierced Beetho's back and abdomen.
Red blood flowed from Beetho's body.
Beetho was shocked. He didn't think he could break through the defenses of his own spirit skill.
"Bana! Does this thing ignore defense?!"
Beetho turned to look behind him. Blue eyes stared at him.
It looked like a cursed version of a sunflower.
Roots extended from the curse in front of him.
Beetho smiled. "So that's how it is. It's not that your attacks ignore defenses, but they're just silent. Because there's no sound, you can't tell." Where did it come from?
The cursed flower pierced through the defenses without a sound.
"The sound of the silent curse came out. You're interesting."
Beetho smiled helplessly. "Hmph, behind me, Master."
Feng Wen was running at full speed. Roots shot into Feng Wen's legs and arms. Shhh!
Roots from the ground attacked Feng Wen's arms and legs.
Feng Wen didn't notice. [What the hell...! What kind of curse is this!?]
Feng Wen couldn't react in time.
The curse behind Beetho spoke. "Rest assured, little one. I'll spare that man's life. But you have to satisfy me first. Then he'll be saved."
Beetho smiled, bleeding profusely, but there was no sound of his body pulsing.
"I don't even know your name?"
"I'm sorry. I'm the Silent Tree Magical Treasure." No name, call it whatever you want. And the Guardian of the Silent Forest, or as you call it, the Silent Curse Forest.
Beeth stared at Feng Wen, whose blood was still flowing, flying towards him.
"What? Why is the big boss here?"
"Oh, really? Don't you know? That little boy you bullied was my clone. Seeing that the clone was dying, I was awakened from my long slumber and came to see this place. But it turned out I found you, a very interesting person who would be my host."
"So this is how unpredictable life is."
"Don't be sad, little one. I'm a better person than you think."
"What good person would steal someone else's body?"
"It's true. The winner is righteous, and the loser is called evil." That's all. You lost to me, so I'm right.
Beetho was struck by a tree root on the back of his neck. Boom!
Beetho fainted.
