ETERNAL SHADOWS ~~ CASTLE
They broke the kiss to catch their breath and he used his thumb to caress her wet lips.
She stared at him and when his gaze went to her, her heart skipped.
She suddenly remembered the girls she saw and tears welled up in her eyes.
"What's wrong?" He asked and she started crying.
"I'm sorry for not listening to you. I'm sorry for yelling at you back there" She said and his thumb left her lips.
He frowned before pulling her in for a hug.
Her head rested on his chest and her hands went to his back.
"I'm sorry"
"Don't" He said and she bit her lips sniffing.
"Can I kill them?" He asked and she sniffed again.
"No"
"Too bad I will" He said and she broke the hug staring at him with a small smile.
"You're copying me" She muttered and he scoffed.
"I will kill them Ava. They hurt you and I clearly warned them" He said his eyes darkening.
"Don't worry about it anymore. I'm not going back to the city again" She said with a pout.
He smiled slowly.
"You just had to learn it the hard way" He said and she punched his arm.
"Stop" She said and wiped her tears.
"We're going back there tomorrow" He said.
"Hubby"
"What? Won't you tell Merlin you're quitting?" He asked.
"Ohh. Okay we'll go together" She said with a grin and he nodded.
"Why did you kiss me again in the room?" He asked and she chuckled.
"You kissed me first and you didn't even let me reciprocate before breaking it. That's not how they kiss yunno. I have more things to teach you" She said and winked before going to the restroom.
He smiled and then frowned remembering the faces of the girls.
Ava came out wearing a black T-shirt and bum short.
"Go shower, I have a surprise" She said and he sped into the restroom.
She smiled carrying the blanket.
After some minutes, he came out wearing his usual night wear.
"Let's go" She said and he walked over to her.
"But first..." She said and went to his back jumping on him.
He groaned.
"Get off"
"No. I want a piggy back ride" She said happily and he scoffed before arranging her on his body.
He was about to walk when she used her leg to hit the side of his waist.
"Heyy!!" He snapped.
"Giddy up" She said with a grin and he just stood.
"Hubby" She called bringing her face close to his ear.
"Let's go" She whispered her hot breath tickling his ears.
"I'm not a horse so apologize for saying that" He said and she laughed.
"Sorry your hubbiness" She said and he chuckled.
"Whatever" He said and started walking.
He left the room heading downstairs.
He dropped her on the couch and he sat down as well.
"What's the surprise?" He asked and she took the remote before turning the TV on. 'His Heartbeat' by Vee_rah just started.
"This" She said and paused the show.
She stood rushing to the kitchen. She carried a bottle of blood and brought out two glass cups before turning it into them.
She took the glass cups and came back handing Lucian a glass. He took it and she sat on the couch as their attention went to the TV.
"This is stupid" He said and she looked at him.
"What do you mean?"
"How can someone be allergic to women?" He asked and scoffed.
She hit him with her elbow and he sent a frown her way.
"It's not his fault. Blame his stupid father and his secretary" She said.
"Humans are also wicked to their kind" He said and she remembered something.
She sighed sadly gulping down the glass of blood.
"I told you we should kill them, you don't want to agree" He said drinking from his glass.
"They were my friends, it ain't easy yunno" She said and he sighed.
He pulled her closer to him by the waist and she looked at him.
"Rest your head" He said and she blinked before smiling.
She dropped the glass cup and wrapped her arms around him before resting her head on his shoulder as she stared at the TV.
"I just said rest your head" He muttered with an eye roll.
"You and I know I do the opposite of what you tell me" She said and he chuckled.
He looked down at her and let out a small smile before dropping the glass. He wrapped his arms around her as well before focusing on the movie.
UNKNOWN MANSION ~~ CALIFORNIA
Everyone ran into the house and the last person locked the door.
The leader who was at the stairs smirked.
"You knew what you were doing when you said we could go bring her" Clara, the one assigned by the leader said.
"You were too eager to kill her, I guess she taught y'all some lessons" Damien, the leader, son of Thomas's friend who despised vampires. The one who tried chopping off Ava's neck at the woods.
"You should have been patient" Chloe said her broken arm hurting badly.
"Oh shut up" Clara glared at her.
"Now we go back to our main mission, finding where she resides. Apparently, you girls ain't gonna do the trick so I think I'll step in this time." Damien said and Chloe scoffed.
"I doubt she'd come back to the human world"
"She will. She's Amy's friend and we might as well use her as bait" He said.
"What if it doesn't work?" Clara asked.
"We'd go with my second plan" He said and explained it to them.
They let out a small smile.
"You guys should go treat yourself. And don't bother leaving this mansion except you want to visit the cemetery" He said and they nodded before leaving.
"Ava" He muttered and smirked deeply.
REDWOOD FOREST ~~ CALIFORNIA
"I found where she lives" Desmond said rushing into Lucas's room.
"Finally" He said standing up from the couch.
Desmond told him the location and Lucas let out a small laughter.
"Send some werewolves there. I'll join y'all soon" He said and Desmond nodded before leaving.
Lucas smirked deeply.
