He pulled out his claws which were covered in her blood. She fell on her knees holding her chest which was bleeding badly. The wound was refusing to close up and it was painful.
"She's coming back for you" He said and sped out of the mansion.
"Lucian" Jason called and he stopped to look at him.
"I have the antidote" He said and Lucian sped back to him.
"Where is it?" Lucian asked and he brought out a bottle from his pocket.
"Where did you get it from?" He asked.
"When I visited Rina to train me, I saw two liquids in a bottle. One was green which I suppose was the poison and then the purple liquid, I took some out of it in case the poison was meant for Ava" Jason said.
"Whatever. Hand it over" Lucian said and Jason smirked, stepping back.
"I'd give you only if you divorce Ava" Jason said and Lucian just stared at him.
"Is that all?"
"And stay away from her after you divorce her" Jason said and Lucian smirked.
"No" He said and sped to him headbutting him.
He staggered back, letting go of the bottle. Lucian took it and smirked looking at Jason.
"It was stupid of you to connive with Rina. You claim you love Ava yet you worked with Rina in poisoning her" Lucian said and Jason bit his lips wondering how he found out.
"Don't worry, Ava is going to come back for you both" He said and turned to go but then he stopped and turned his side view to him.
"I would have killed you but then you won't be able to see me and Ava together. Though I'll leave you with something soothing" Lucian said and sped to his back diving his claws through his back.
"Arghhhhh!!!!" Jason screamed in pain as Lucian's claws came out from his chest.
Lucian pulled out of him and he fell to the ground holding his bleeding chest that refused to heal.
"Enjoy" Lucian said with a smirk and sped back to the castle.
RAVEN'S PEAK ~~ CASTLE
Lucian walked into the room and his eyes widened when he saw Ava sitting on the bed smiling at Gorya.
"Ava" He called and she averted her gaze to him. She smiled a little and removed the duvet. She stood on the bed and jumped on him wrapping her legs around his waist.
He wrapped his arms tightly on her not wanting to let go.
"Hubby" She called and he smiled widely, tightening the hug.
"I thought I'd never hear you say that again" He said releasing her and she smiled.
"She needs rest. Let her sleep" Gorya said and he stared at her before going to drop her on the bed.
"How come she's awake right now?" He asked and she smiled.
"She can't die Lucian and you know it. Seeing her look lifeless then made you forget" Gorya said and then he remembered.
No one can kill her except him.
"So why did you make me go get the antidote?" He asked.
"To give me time to make sure she doesn't choose to leave the world forever" Gorya said and he looked at Ava.
Her wounds healed already and the bed has been changed.
"Thank you" He said and she nodded before leaving.
"Why did you leave the castle in the first place?" He asked.
"Your brother was killed because of my parents and now your clan was hurt because of me. Because I didn't listen" She said looking down at her hands.
"You only wanted to explore" He said.
"And that caused harm to you guys" She said without looking up at him.
"So you're trying to say you regret going back to the city? You regret meeting that Amy girl and Miss Merlin?" He asked and she looked at him.
"Had it been you didn't go there, you wouldn't have met them" He added and she exhaled.
"You're right" She muttered.
"And about the attack, it's not your fault. It's the fault of your parents" He said.
"You sound calm about it. You plan on attacking them" Ava said.
"I would have but then you warned me not to. So I won't" He said and her eyes widened.
"Thank you"
"Don't thank me yet. They still plan on attacking and when they do, I will kill every single one of them" He said and she bit her lips.
"Will you stop me then?" He asked and she sighed.
"No" She muttered.
He smiled walking to sit beside her on the bed.
"Don't blame yourself again. And don't try leaving me again" He said and she smiled.
"I meant to say don't try leaving the castle. See what happened because you left" He quickly said and Ava giggled.
"Oh sure I believe you" She said and he scoffed.
She moved closer to him and hugged him resting her head on his shoulder.
"I want to find who tried to kill me" She muttered on his shoulder and he hugged her back.
"What will you do to the person who attempted to kill you?" He asked and her gaze darkened.
"I'll give him or her a taste of their own medicine" She said breaking the hug.
"Is that allowed?" She asked tilting her head while her palms rested on the sides of his face.
"Definitely. But after you rest" He said and she smiled laying back down on the bed.
'He will kill you Ava' She remembered her dad's words and she inhaled and exhaled.
He used the duvet to cover her and she smiled, closing her eyes.
He stood and went downstairs to meet Gorya in the kitchen.
"Here you go" She said, handing him a bottle of green liquid.
He stared at her for a while before collecting it.
"How did you know that I wanted to ask for this?" He asked.
"Ava already told me she wanted the person who caused her pain to feel the same pain she felt so I guessed so" She replied with a smile.
He turned to go but her words made him stop.
"Destiny can be changed" He looked back at her but she had already left.
