Gloria spent the night at the train station.
The next morning, the ticket windows were already packed with long lines.
Gloria still hadn't decided where to go.
She scanned the area and chose a line with fewer people.
After asking around, she found out this window sold long-distance tickets to small, remote towns.
Maybe this was a sign, she thought.
The more remote the town, the easier it would be to hide. Sebastian would never think to look for her there.
The only downside was that making money in a small town would be slow.
Who knew how long it would take for her to save enough for her parents to live comfortably in their old age.
Soon, it was her turn to buy a ticket.
Gloria bought a ticket for the next available bus.
With half an hour until departure, she decided to use the restroom, worried it might be inconvenient on the road.
As she exited the restroom, she heard a familiar voice outside. "Sir, are you sure it's here? I don't see anyone."
