I was dressed up in a beautiful red dress and black heels with mama's diamond earings. On learning about the auction I was going to take part in, Mama immediately flew on her Dragonite to give me some clothes to wear. Can't look like a pauper now in an elite auction right.
I have to say everyone was well dressed, looking really good. I saw Giovanni talking to Lorelai. Almost all girls were looking at him or Lance. Both were good looking and in powerful position and the only single males.
Yeah, Bruno is married to his childhood sweetheart who is a human doctor. Both really do look good together. Koga obviously has a wife with his daughter a gym leader as in cannon. Blake was Lorelai boyfriend and so no one really dared to look at him even though he too was good looking. Lorelai rath was just not something they could afford.
Will's girlfriend is a school teacher and everyone knows how much Will loves his girlfriend. Whenever he brings his girlfriend he stays glue to her and does not let any man come near her. Yeah looks like Will is the possessive one in there relationship.
Will was talking to Koga and Karen. Lorelai was with Blake, both talking with Bruno and Flora. Interrupting them doesn't seem right. Lance and Giovanni too looked to be deep in conversation. Sigh, guess I will just roam around alone. Being youngest is not at all cool alright. Its really awkward.
I was walking around a bit when I saw Professor Oak and Linda together. Well they both were very famous for there work. Linda was a type professor and Oak was a nature professor. Suprisingly she was also wife of Professor Oak.
And unlike how the games show Agatha having a crush on Oak and was heartbroken when Oak married someone else, in actual life Agatha was the one that introduce Linda to Oak when they were young.
Oak immediately fell in love with Linda and chased her relentlessly. Yeah who would expect. Linda though didn't gave in easily. Only after completely assessing the fact that Oak was not a playboy and genuinely wanted to date her did she agree to be with him.
"Hello Linda, Proffesor Oak." I called out.
"You are getting out of hand aren't you, calling your mentor by her name." Linda said while twisting my ear pulling it really hard.
"Ow- Ow- Linda, Ow, sorry sorry alright. Its just calling you professor sound too formal and weird if I am being honest" I said.
"You call Blue and red uncle, but me Linda." Linda said.
"Of course I would, I mean its not like you are old right." I said teasingly with a grin. Linda blushed at that."(Note :Linda is also a old lady alright, no large age gap thing.)
Linda blushed at that but was pleased with my remark and so let it slide. She also understood that I call her by her name as I feel really close to her.
We talked a bit more. I also hinted at my plans to upload new papers for evolution. Linda just sighed at that muttering about prodigy child. Even if they are way older than me, due to our same background as researchers talking with them is way easier.
Regretfully I had to leave as the auction was about to start. The moment I went back everyone was stunned. Even Giovanni and Lance who were so deep in convo that they didn't realize when the chairman came and went were staring with wide eyes. Nelly by the side was asking 'And what about there red cheeks. Not gonna acknowledge that.'
'Guess they are feeling hot in a suit. Honestly I don't blame them. Its really kinda hot today.' I said. Nelly just smacked her head thinking 'sigh my host can be dumb sometimes.'
Anyway, somehow I ended up in between Giovanni and Lance. Why the heck was Lorelai smirking and giving me a thumbs up. Sigh.
"Anyway Giovanni, do you plan to buy any item from here." I asked.
"Maybe if there ground type materials is good enough. Or if something my Charizard or beedrill can use then yeah I will definitely buy." Giovanni said with a shrug. I nodded at that.
"What about you Lance." I turned to him to ask.
"Maybe if there dragon type materials is up to the standards then yeah. Or if its something for charizard and aerodactyl." Lance said with a shrug. It went quiet after that.
"Well I do hope they have an interesting pokemon that I can add in my team. Though if the matrials are good too then I don't mind." I said trying to make a conversation.
"Yeah, if only there was a system where criminals could be easily discerned and we were able to cut off the source for them to gain such high quality premium items then it would be even better." Lance said with a sigh.
"Do you want to cut off source for criminals or trainers originating from normal household. How quaint. The champion of Jhoto want to hoard all the resources for his family alone only." Giovanni said with disdain. Wait what!
Both of them glared at each other before turning away in anger. Wait. Where they arguing till now.
