"This is interesting, the spatial gap...'"Karnel muttered with amusement.
Carrick II's eyes flickered, and no one could tell what he was thinking.
"You still haven't told me how to return to this world," Karnel asked calmly.
'So this terrifying deity truly wants to come back to our world...'
Carrick's face filled with terror "We don't know this either!"
Karnel's expression suddenly turned cold as he spoke in an icy voice: "You've returned here multiple times after visiting Earth. What do you mean you don't know? Don't think that because I spared your life out of mercy, you can play tricks with me."
Plop!
Murderous aura penetrated to his bones, and Carrick II collapsed to the ground in fear, shouting "My lord, I'm telling the truth! The Demon Realm is the homeland of our demon race, we were all born here. When we want to return from the universe, the Demon Realmr naturally transmits a special magical attraction to us. Relying on this magical pull, we can find our way back here. You're not of the demon race and have no connection to the Demon Realm. I truly don't know how you could return here!"
'There's such a mechanism... But he doesn't seem to be deceiving me.'
Karnel stood silently, concentrating deeply.
For a long while, he couldn't conceive of any solution.
"Can I really not return here?" He felt somewhat unwilling in his heart. The Demon Realm's world was unstable and violently fluctuating, it was a treasure trove for Karnel's training.
As for the insane idea of using this world's demonic energy to transform into a demon, Karnel immediately dismissed it. What was the point of becoming some ghost-like existence?
"Damn! Never mind, if I gain it, I'm fortunate; if I lose it, so be it! I'm being too greedy. I have the power of time yet still desire the power of space." Karnel sighed inwardly and stopped obsessing over this matter, shaking his head to dispel the greed in his heart.
"Let's return to the original Earth's timeline first! Perhaps there'll be another opportunity to visit a different demon realm in the future..." The thought flashed through his mind, and Karnel no longer paid attention to Carrick II lying on the ground. He gathered energy in his hand, forming it into a blade and thrusting forward. Karnel seemed to hear the crisp sound of shattering glass as a large section of space was sliced into dozens of light holes by his destructive crimson aura.
"Haha! I can finally experience that feeling from novels!" Karnel laughed heartily as red light surged around him. With a whoosh, his figure rushed into the light and vanished from the Demon Realm.
"Goneth, at terrifying deity is finally gone! Earth... Yes, Earth is far too dangerous. I'll never go there again. Father, I'm afraid I'll have to wait hundreds of years until that evil god dies before I can fulfill your wish!" Carrick rolled on the ground, celebrating Karnel's departure.
Karnel remained in the light passage for only a moment before appearing in an unfamiliar starry region of the universe.
"Let's go back and bid farewell to Son Gohan and the others in this timeline first! After I return, I need to search for the Super Dragon Balls. I'm really a workaholic." Karnel thought with a silent smile.
"Super Dragon Balls..."
He whispered to himself, his eyes becoming resolute. Sensing Earth's location, he executed Instant Transmission!
Above the Earth in this future world, Karnel had returned. His body swiftly leaped through layers of clouds, soon arriving at Son Gohan and the others' gathering place.
Like a deity descending from the heavens, a crimson beam of light suddenly fell near Son Gohan's group. After the light dissipated and Karnel returned to his normal appearance, he materialized before them.
"Karnel, you're back! That black figure... was it Son Goku?" Master Roshi looked at Karnel and asked urgently.
When the two had been fighting in the sky, Master Roshi had observed the dark figure, it seemed very familiar, remarkably similar to the deceased Son Goku. However, they had been battling so fiercely without pause that he couldn't find a chance to ask questions. Now that Karnel appeared to have eliminated that person and returned, Master Roshi naturally couldn't endure his inner torment and was desperate to know about his first disciple.
Hearing this, Karnel felt deeply moved. 'Master Roshi, this perverted old man, truly cares deeply for his disciples. It's Kakarot's blessing to be Master Roshi's student and have such a devoted teacher.'
A trace of sympathy flashed in Karnel's eyes. He didn't know whether he should reveal the cruel truth that Son Goku's grave had been desecrated and his body stolen.
"Come on, is it him? He's been my disciple for so many years, I couldn't possibly mistake him! Did you kill him?" Master Roshi was extremely agitated, his walking stick creaking in his grip.
Son Gohan and Trunks were also shocked.
"Although that person bore a strong resemblance to my father, his aura was completely different from Father's, and he's been dead for many years... Grandpa Turtle, did you mistake him for someone else?" Son Gohan hesitated before speaking. Without the Dragon Balls, he truly couldn't believe his father Son Goku could return to life and become so malevolent.
"But he really did look like... Oh! That's right, Goku died long ago. Although that person appeared very similar, his aura was completely different." Master Roshi was startled for a moment, but his excitement subsided. After regaining his composure, he looked disappointed.
'Well, let's keep this news secret, lest Master Roshi and Son Gohan can't bear this heavy blow.' Karnel observed Master Roshi's dejected expression and made his decision. He took a deep breath and said: "You're mistaken, that person merely resembled Kakarot. He was a Supreme Kai suffering from severe delusions of grandeur, seriously mentally ill. He constantly fantasized about making all living beings in the universe experience pain or some such nonsense!"
