With a light punch, space shattered, and colorful distorted light shone through the broken spatial fault.
"It can be shattered with such a casual strike. The spatial barrier of this dimensional world is incredibly fragile, incomparable to the space within the universe, which is solid as a prison wall." Karnel murmured as he observed the basketball-sized hole in space before him, which was slowly healing itself.
An energy sphere was launched skyward, then Karnel detonated it. The several-meter-wide energy ball exploded instantly, its force spreading in all directions. A light hole approximately ten meters across was blasted through space. The area surrounding the hole was densely packed with tiny cracks that rapidly extended into the distance. From afar, it resembled a massive mirror with a hole punched through its center, surrounded by radiating fractures.
Carrick II had no idea what this terrifying deity was attempting by creating so many spatial passages. He stood there motionless, not daring to move, praying in his heart that this demon-like outsider would leave immediately.
"Indeed, the spatial fluctuations in this incomplete dimensional world are extremely volatile. It can be easily shattered with minimal effort. If I remain here for a while, I'm confident I could cultivate the power of space..."
Karnel was overjoyed, the thought of staying temporarily flashing through his mind. However, remembering he'd been in this future timeline for quite some time and that the unstable factor had been eliminated, he couldn't help but feel eager to return to his original Earth. He didn't want to remain in this strange realm for even a moment longer.
"First, I need to find a way to enter this dimensional world, then when I have time, I can return to this Demon Realm to practice spatial manipulation, it shouldn't be much different from mastering time... This Carrick II has crossed the cosmic barrier multiple times to reach Earth. Perhaps he has some method to rapidly travel between the two worlds."
"Carrick II, do you possess any efficient methods for traveling between the Demon Realm and the universe?" Having made his decision, Karnel turned and addressed the diminutive figure behind him seriously.
'Can't you easily travel between worlds? Although I don't understand why he's asking such an obvious question, since this terrifying deity inquired, there must be some deeper meaning... No, are you testing me? If I don't answer properly, will you kill me?' Carrick II was startled and looked up at the fearsome being, who didn't appear to be joking.
Carrick II spoke with a trembling voice: "Sir, don't you know this method as well? And it seems you can accomplish it effortlessly..."
'I can do it too? And easily...'
Karnel held his chin pensively, staring at Carrick II, who dared not breathe. After a moment, he raised his eyes to observe the spatial light hole he'd blasted open, which had recovered halfway.
"You mean... the hole with colorful lights that I just punched is a passage to the outside universe?" Karnel asked quietly.
Though such questions seemed remarkably basic to Carrick II, the Lord of the Demon Realm, all demons in this world knew that spatial passages to the outside appeared like that, it was impossible for them with their limited strength to create such openings.
Carrick II was the strongest being in the Demon Realm, but compared to the terrifying deity before him, his current power was no better than an ant's. Creating a spatial passage with such a casual punch was utterly beyond his capabilities.
"That's correct, sir! You... you can create a passage to the universe with just a punch, that's incredible! We demons can only open such a passage by gathering most of our race's combined power at the moment when the Demon Realm is at its strongest." Carrick II explained in subdued tones.
'The colorful light hole before me is the passage to the universe. I'm such an idiot for not realizing this!'
Karnel slapped his forehead, secretly cursing his oversight, then his figure flashed upward rapidly, arriving before the light hole to observe every change in the passage with intense focus.
'Gone... This terrifying deity is finally leaving. I am finally free! What a frightening individual!' Carrick II heaved a massive sigh of relief and began jumping up and down in celebration.
Fearing he might never be able to return to this treasure trove for comprehending spatial power once he departed, Karnel flashed back after a moment. Seeing Carrick II dancing around, he shook his head and called out: "Hey, do you know how to return here after leaving?"
Karnel had just attempted to sense the location in his mind, but couldn't find the Demon Realm's position in his mental star map. He could locate the five Kai planets and the Sacred World of the Kai, but the Demon Realm remained elusive. This was truly peculiar.
"Ah! My lord, why have you returned?" Just as he was celebrating, that voice rang in his ears again. Carrick II was so startled he tumbled to the ground, stammering in terror.
Karnel wasn't angered and waved his hand dismissively before asking again "Do you know how to return here? I cannot locate the Demon Realm's position. It exists neither within the universe nor in higher-level space. This dimensional world is rather strange, even I cannot sense it!"
"My lord... The Demon Realm is a lower-level dimensional world that floats in the gap between the universe and other higher-level spaces."
