[You have received a memory..]
The voice of the spell rung in Sunny's ears as he withdrew the blade from the ginormous beast. Though currently he had no chance to check the memory, still it wouldn't take much longer to finish this.
The first thing Sunny did when he got back to the waking world was delve into his soul to see what the memory could be. Bringing it forth, it was a simple ring. It was almost as if it was extraordinarily plain.

Sunny didn't have the time to fully process a divine memory from a random beast, because as soon as he read the first enchantment, his heart sank and a pit in his stomach formed.
Day 1.
"Rain, I think it's time I teach you a lesson that may help you more than any sword skills you've learned." Her eyes widened as she immediately put the practice sword up, rushing towards him. Her mind raced. Could he be teaching her a way to not be traced by nightmare creatures, or possibly a way to overcome the difficult terrain of the dream realm? "Let's go fishing!"
He could only bring himself to watch her back as she struggled reeling in a fish. Well, with how much she was struggling, perhaps it was a rogue nightmare creature. It wouldn't be the first time it has happened in the world. The breeze was neither warm nor cool.. it was simply a breeze, just wrapping around his body as if hugging him, perhaps trying to offer him some comfort. "I.. I got it!" She beamed a smile at him, a fish that was as tall as his legs hanging off the end of her pole. "Now.. are you ready to kill it?" Her smile dropped while his grew, until it dropped as he began walking, taking her shoulder, looking at the lake they were at. "Just watch and learn as I do it, then you can do the next one." He bent down, summoning the Moonlight Shard before cleanly cutting the fish's head off. As he began to gut it, thoughts clouded his mind. Maybe he took it for granted. In a way, he was kind of like this fish. He was simply living until he wasn't. In the end, his life, just like any other, was equal on the scale of every other life. From the birds to the ants, they all live and die just the same... He wanted to tell her so badly. He wanted to just tell her that he's her brother. But he can't, because when he leaves the world it would just end up hurting her more than it would if everything stayed the same. So just for today.. just for today, he wants to spend the day with his sister.
Day 2.
Kai's eyes almost glowed as he was singing his heart out. Effie was laughing and clapping to the beat of the song they chose, while he, Nephis, and Cassie just enjoyed the show. It was his first time ever at karaoke, but it was a first for all of them as well, other than Kai and Cassie. He didn't know. He didn't know how to tell everyone, but he knew he had to tell them.. but not just yet. After all, they still had so much more to do today. They went to see the teaser movie for the second Forgotten Shore movie, and to put it shortly.. it would be a dumpster fire. Effie took them to a diner. Though the food could be considered mediocre, Sunny couldn't help but consider it to be one of the best things he's ever eaten. They made small talk over the food as Effie kept ordering more food before they were eventually asked to leave. They explored, they messed around, they did mundane things that everyday people do. They just enjoyed the everyday life, expecting a tomorrow to come. It couldn't wait any longer. After all, they were all simply on the beach, the Moonlight reflecting off the ocean. Standing up, he walked in front of them all before diving in the water. Swimming back up and jumping out, the Moonlight bounced off the droplets of water clinging to his body and enhanced the biggest smile he could muster at them. "I'm dying tomorrow!"
Day 3.
He couldn't face them. Despite all they did for him and them being some of the most important people on his journey, he simply couldn't say goodbye. He couldn't because he knew they already had to say goodbye many more times than he could imagine. Leaving Master Jet and Professor Julius two separate letters, he headed to his final destination. It was a lone tree, but if you looked closely, you would notice three engravings on it.
Sunny leaned back on the tree, those of the slums giving him curious looks before backing away, probably waiting for the time to strike once he's let his guard down to rob him. Though that was the least of his concerns. The final thing he wanted to do after all was thank them. Thank his parents for giving birth to him despite the miserable life he's lived.
He wanted to tell them his journey, his struggles, his triumphs, but he couldn't.. the words simply wouldn't come out, no matter how much he tried. "I enjoyed it.. I enjoyed the life you wanted to give me. So thank you for that." He could only hope these last 3 days are what they would want him to live like, not burdened by the spell, by fate.. just living. Fate has never liked Sunny, and the feeling was mutual. But what he could say was if all the times fate has tormented him led to the moments he experienced the last 3 days, then he could say that life wasn't so bad after all. Sunny closed his eyes.. though he couldn't come to terms with it, he could accept it. That's all he could do as his mind faded.
[Your memory has been destroyed..]
[You have received a memory..]
His eyes shot open, looking around, seeing everything he saw before he closed his eyes, not even a minute passing. He was alive. Somehow, someway, he was alive. The tears he had been holding back rushed out like lakes falling from his eyes, but he couldn't be happier because these 3 days to him were..
