Shikamaru returned to Anbu headquarters and instructed Natsuhi and Uzuki Yugao to guard the door. He then entered the secret chamber, emerging only at noon the next day. Without a word, Shikamaru pulled both women into the chamber with him.
"Ah! Shikamaru, what's wrong? You're burning up!" Natsuhi exclaimed in alarm as she touched his feverish body. Uzuki Yugao, sensing the same heat, gazed at Shikamaru's flushed face with concern.
Hiss~
Without hesitation, Shikamaru tore open Natsuhi's ninja uniform, his eyes blazing with desire.
"Natsuhi... it's so hot..."
Having fully mastered the power of the Nine-Tailed Beast's Shadow, Shikamaru felt an unbearable heat coursing through his body. Without a proper release, his body felt as if it would be consumed by flames. Since the Nine-Tailed Beast's influence was absent, Shikamaru wouldn't lose control, but the aftereffects manifested as an overwhelming physical need.
In a few swift movements, Shikamaru stripped himself and Natsuhi of their clothes and immediately launched his assault. He continued until Natsuhi could no longer endure, then turned his attention to Uzuki Yugao.
Uzuki Yugao, who had been watching the entire time, was already burning with desire. Seeing Natsuhi falter, she eagerly stepped forward to meet Shikamaru's advances. However, Shikamaru was unusually vigorous that day, and in less than fifteen minutes, he had Uzuki Yugao completely overwhelmed. Reluctantly, Natsuhi, who had barely recovered, had to step back into the fray. After three such cycles, Shikamaru, noticing Uzuki Yugao's insatiable hunger, abruptly withdrew, hastily dressed, and bolted out the door.
"Natsuhi... hold on... I... I'll get Hokage-sama to help right away..." Uzuki Yugao stammered before rushing toward the Hokage Building, leaving Natsuhi alone to endure Shikamaru's fiery onslaught.
Soon, Uzuki Yugao returned with Tsunade, Ino, and Haku, whom Shikamaru had rescued earlier. When they opened the secret chamber and witnessed the outrageous scene, Tsunade spat in disgust, "You lecherous bastard!"
Ino stood beside her, her cheeks flushed red. She had never seen Shikamaru with another woman before. Haku, meanwhile, watched with concern as Shikamaru's overwhelming vigor threatened to crush Natsuhi beneath him.
"Haku, go relieve Natsuhi immediately! She's about to collapse!" Tsunade, the world's foremost medical ninja, could see that Shikamaru desperately needed to release his pent-up energy. Too embarrassed to go first herself, she called upon Haku, who had been Shikamaru's first companion.
"Right away! I'll relieve Natsuhi-neechan!" Haku, deeply fond of Natsuhi, couldn't bear to see her suffer any longer. Though equally thrilled, he quickly shed his clothes and stepped forward. With a startled cry, Shikamaru yanked him up.
As Haku retreated, Ino stepped forward. Having regained her composure, she boldly entwined herself around Shikamaru, shocking the other women with her audacity.
Finally, Tsunade's turn came. She had always resisted sharing Shikamaru with others, but now there was no escape. Witnessing Ino's boldness, she seemed to loosen up. Before she could even reach Shikamaru, he pulled her close and kissed her passionately, utterly captivated by her legendary chest.
After several rounds, Shikamaru finally released his seed within Tsunade. The burning heat in his body subsided, and he fully mastered the power of the Nine-Tailed Beast's Shadow.
Completely sobered, Shikamaru surveyed the disheveled, delicate bodies sprawled around him. He couldn't help but marvel at his own recklessness, yet his heart swelled with pride, the pride of a man.
"Tsunade! Do you have any good candidates? I'm going to extract the One-Tailed Shukaku's Shadow from Gaara too!" After explaining to Tsunade that his condition was due to stealing the Nine-Tailed Beast's Shadow, Shikamaru, under Tsunade's astonished gaze, turned his attention to Gaara, who was still in Konoha.
"No! Your mental and physical strength can't handle another Tailed Beast's Shadow." Tsunade immediately protested. "At least not for now!"
"Is that so..." Shikamaru chuckled wryly. He knew it wasn't the time to absorb more Shadows and had only been half-serious.
"Shikamaru!" Tsunade said after a moment's thought. "You've been overseeing the Anbu for a while now. Have you considered reestablishing Root? Konoha needs hidden strength."
Shikamaru stepped forward and embraced Tsunade, his right hand slipping down her collar. "'Root'? I have no intention of rebuilding it..."
"Mmm... Shikamaru, let go! This is the Hokage's office..." Tsunade protested weakly, feeling the strength of his hand.
"Don't worry! The Anbu who used to protect the Hokage are all under my command now. I've already given them their orders." Shikamaru said, his hands busy. "But I'll also form a new elite squad, Team Shadow!"
"Team Shadow? Who's in it? Have you chosen any members yet?" Tsunade suddenly realized that with Shikamaru in charge of the Anbu, the Hokage's life would no longer be under constant surveillance.
"The members haven't been finalized yet, but everyone in Team Shadow must possess Kage-level strength." Shikamaru replied. This team would serve as Konoha's primary force against Akatsuki, an organization composed of ten Kage-level powerhouses. Shikamaru needed to find at least nine potential candidates.
"What? Shikamaru, you're not joking, are you?" Tsunade exclaimed in disbelief. Konoha currently only had three Kage-level shinobi: Shikamaru himself, Jiraiya, and Tsunade. "Why do you need such a powerful force?"
Tsunade's robe had somehow slipped off. Shikamaru's hands roamed over her body as he said, "Would you believe me if I said it was to protect Konoha?"
"Ugh... Shikamaru..." Tsunade, aroused by Shikamaru's touch, glanced at him with a sultry gaze and murmured softly, "I trust you, Shikamaru. I'll support you in whatever you do..."
"Really? Then would you be willing to join the 'Shadow' squad I just mentioned?" Shikamaru chuckled, delighted by Tsunade's uncharacteristically docile demeanor.
"Is that... possible? I'm Hokage now..." Tsunade asked, her usual assertiveness completely gone.
"Of course! You're my woman, after all!" Shikamaru grinned mischievously and leaned in for a kiss. Tsunade responded passionately, her lips meeting his.
Knock, knock!
Two sharp knocks interrupted their embrace. Before they could compose themselves, the door swung open.
"Hokage-sama..." Shizune stood frozen in the doorway, her eyes wide with shock at the sight of Shikamaru and Tsunade's intimate embrace. The stack of documents in her hands slipped from her grasp and scattered across the floor.
"Ah... ugh..." Shizune tried to cry out, but Shikamaru swiftly moved and clamped his hand over her mouth, muffling her protest into a muffled whimper.
"Shh! Shizune, what are you doing here?" Shikamaru warned her to be quiet, then feigned ignorance.
"I... I'm sorry... I just..." Shizune stammered, her face flushed with embarrassment. For some reason, a pang of bitterness struck her heart. Ever since returning to Konoha, Shikamaru hadn't come to see her once.
"Oh!" Shikamaru drawled. Turning to Tsunade, he said, "If you're busy, Tsunade, I'll take my leave."
"Get out of here already!" Tsunade, now fully dressed in her long robe, shouted, her face red with embarrassment. She hoped the outburst would diffuse the awkwardness.
"Sigh... If only I'd punished Shizune right then and there, I wouldn't have had to run away..." Shikamaru muttered to himself as he exited the Hokage Building. He headed toward the former Uchiha Clan compound. After Sasuke's defection, Shikamaru had purchased the land and converted it into his private estate. Haku, Natsuhi, Uzuki Yugao, Tsunade, and Ino had all moved in. Ino, worried about her mother's loneliness, had even dragged her along to live there.
