Chapter 104 - CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FOUR: Consumed By Darkness

As they walked, the mist seemed to grow thicker, making it harder to see. But they pressed on, their hearts pounding in their chests.

A dark, glowing shape seemed to be looming in the distance, pulsing with an otherworldly energy.

As they drew closer to the glowing shape, the group could feel the energy emanating from it growing stronger. It was as if they were being drawn into some kind of dark, malevolent force that would consume them whole.

The shape itself seemed to be pulsing with an otherworldly energy, its surface shifting and flowing like a liquid. The group could feel its power calling to them, tempting them to reach out and touch it.

"Be careful," Mike warned, his hand on the artifact. "We don't know what this thing is or what it can do."

But it was too late. Amina, drawn by the shape's power, reached out a hand to touch it. As soon as she did, the shape began to glow brighter, and the group felt a surge of energy flow through them.

Amina's eyes went wide, and she stumbled backward, her hand still touching the shape. "What's happening?" she cried, her voice filled with fear.

The group rushed to her side, trying to pull her away from the shape. But it was too late. The shape had already begun to exert some kind of strange influence over Amina, drawing her into its dark, malevolent power.

"Amina, no!" Mike shouted, trying to grab her. But she was too far gone, her eyes glazing over as the shape's power consumed her.

The group watched in horror as Amina's body began to change, her eyes turning black as coal, and her skin taking on a strange, waxy pallor.

"It's the heart of Agwankaya," Avovome whispered, it voice filled with awe. "It's corrupting her."

The group knew they had to act fast. They couldn't find a way to snap Amina out of it, or they would lose her forever. "Amina, come back to us!" TJ shouted, trying to reach out to her.

But Amina didn't respond. She was gone, consumed by the dark power of the heart of Agwankaya. The group knew they had to act fast, or they would lose their friend forever.

Gidado's eyes widened in horror as he watched Amina's transformation. "We have to get her away from the shape," he shouted, trying to grab her.

But Amina was too strong, her body seeming to be fueled by some kind of dark energy. She shook off Gidado's grip and took a step closer to the shape, her eyes fixed on it with an unnerving intensity.

Mike knew they had to act fast. He remembered the artifact's power and how it had helped them before. He focused all his energy on the artifact, and suddenly, a blast of energy shot out, enveloping Amina.

The group watched in relief as Amina stumbled backward, the dark energy seeming to recede from her body. She looked around, confused, and then her eyes focused on the group.

"Amina, thank goodness," Bisola exclaimed, rushing to her side. "We thought we'd lost you."

Amina looked at her, still disoriented. "What happened?" she asked, her voice shaking.

Mike's eyes narrowed. "You were under the shape's influence," he said. "We had to use the artifact's power to snap you out of it."

Amina nodded, still looking shaken. "I remember feeling... something," she said. "It was like a darkness inside me, calling to the shape."

The group exchanged worried glances. They knew they had to be careful. The heart of Agwankaya was more powerful than they had anticipated, and they didn't know if they could handle its power.

"We need to be more careful," TJ said, his voice firm. "We can't let anyone else get caught up in the shape's power."

The group nodded in agreement. They knew they had to press on, but they also knew they had to be vigilant. They couldn't afford to lose anyone else to the heart's dark power.

As they stood there, trying to regroup, they heard a voice behind them. "You shouldn't have come here," it said.

The group turned to see a figure emerging from the shadows. It was tall and imposing, and its eyes seemed to bore into the group's souls.

"Who are you?" Mike asked, his hand on the artifact.

The figure didn't answer. Instead, it raised its hand, and the group felt a strange sensation wash over them. Suddenly, they were facing a different challenge, one that would test their strength and courage like never before.
