Chapter 50 - CHAPTER FIFTY: Desperate Struggle

With a wave of his hand, the group was sent flying across the room. They crashed to the ground, their bodies aching from the impact.

Gidado's laughter echoed through the chamber, a cold, mirthless sound that sent shivers down their spines. "You are no match for me," he said, his voice dripping with triumph.

The group struggled to their feet, their faces set with determination. They knew they had to stop Gidado, no matter what it took.

The group charged forward, their swords flashing in the dim light. Gidado laughed again, his eyes gleaming with malevolent power. He raised a hand, and the group was met with a blast of energy that sent them stumbling backward.

Avovome's flames roared to life, and it charged forward, its jaws snapping wildly. Gidado's gaze fell on the creature, and he sneered. "You think fire can harm me?" he said, his voice dripping with contempt.

With a wave of his hand, the flames were extinguished, and Avovome stumbled backward, its body smoldering. The group took advantage of the distraction to launch a fresh attack, their swords slicing through the air.

Gidado's powers were unlike anything they had ever seen. He seemed to be able to manipulate energy and matter itself, bending the world to his will. The group fought valiantly, but they were no match for Gidado's newfound abilities.

As the battle raged on, the group began to tire. Gidado's powers were too great, and they knew they couldn't keep this up for much longer. TJ stumbled backward, his sword arm trembling with fatigue.

Amina's eyes locked onto Gidado, her gaze burning with determination. "We need to end this," she said, her voice low and urgent. "We can't keep fighting him head-on."

Mike nodded, his face set with resolve. "I think I have an idea," he said, his voice barely audible over the sound of clashing steel.

The group fought on, their movements becoming more desperate as Gidado's powers continued to grow. Bisola's eyes were wide with fear as she watched her friends struggle to keep up with Gidado's attacks. She had managed to avoid taking a direct hit so far, but she knew it was only a matter of time before she was caught in the crossfire. Her eyes locked onto Mike, her gaze filled with hope. Maybe, just maybe, they could still find a way to defeat Gidado and restore him to his normal self.

TJ stumbled backward, his sword arm trembling with fatigue. Avovome rushed to his side, its flames burning bright as it protected him from Gidado's attacks.

Gidado's laughter echoed through the chamber, his eyes gleaming with malevolent power. "You are no match for me," he said, his voice dripping with contempt.

The group exchanged desperate glances. They knew they had to act fast, or risk being destroyed by the being that was once their friend. Bisola's voice was barely above a whisper. "What can we do?" she asked, her eyes wide with fear.

Amina's gaze locked onto hers, and she smiled grimly. "We'll figure something out," she said. "We always do."

Together, the group launched a fresh attack, their swords flashing in the dim light. Bisola joined the fight, her movements swift and precise as she dodged Gidado's attacks and struck back with all her might. Despite the odds against them, the group fought on, determined to save their friend and defeat the darkness that had consumed him.

The battle raged on, the group's movements becoming more synchronized as they fought to take down Gidado. Bisola's sword sliced through the air, striking true as she aimed for Gidado's weak points. Avovome's flames danced wildly, protecting the group from Gidado's energy blasts.

Amina's eyes locked onto Gidado, her gaze burning with determination. "We need to get him away from the artifact's power," she shouted to the group. "If we can sever his connection to it, we might be able to bring him back."

Mike nodded, his face set with resolve. "I'll try to disable the artifact," he said, dodging Gidado's attacks. "You guys keep him busy."

The group nodded, their movements becoming more fluid as they worked together. TJ and Bisola pressed forward, their swords flashing in the dim light. Avovome's flames roared to life, driving Gidado back.

Meanwhile, Mike crept closer to the artifact, his eyes fixed on the glowing crystal. He knew that if he could disable it, they might have a chance to restore Gidado to his normal self.

Gidado's laughter echoed through the chamber, his eyes gleaming with malevolent power. "You think you can stop me?" he said, his voice dripping with contempt.
