As soon as he stepped through the door, Chen Mo was greeted by the scent of home. Xiaoyu, with a light sheen of sweat still on her forehead, had clearly just finished in the kitchen.

"The rice just finished cooking," she said with a gentle smile. "Come eat."

"Alright."

Chen Mo reached out to wipe the sweat from her brow, then walked in with her. Xiaoman, who had been playing a game, noticed his return and quickly paused it to follow.

At the dining table, a steaming pot of four-in-one soup sat at the center—undoubtedly Xiaoyu's handiwork. The rich aroma filled the air, bringing a quiet warmth to Chen Mo's heart.

"Sis' husband, I'm heading back to school in two days," Xiaoman said as they sat down. "Need to start working on my graduation thesis. I've stayed here so long, it's hard to leave."

"You thinking about grad school? If you are, I'll sponsor you," Chen Mo offered casually.

"I don't want to study more," Xiaoman shook her head.

"What kind of job are you looking for after graduation? Talk to your sister—she can arrange a position for you in the company." Chen Mo didn't press her. Higher education could add qualifications and knowledge, but if she wasn't interested, he wouldn't force it.

"I better not," Xiaoman laughed. "You and sis look too much alike. Once I join the company, everyone will know I'm her sister. Then they'll say I got special treatment. I don't have a thick enough face for that."

"Then how about I fund your startup?"

"But I don't even know what industry to go into yet."

"You've still got some time before graduation. Use it to figure out what you're passionate about. Once you decide, just tell me—I'll invest in you."

"What if I fail?" she asked.

"No big deal. Just chalk it up to experience. As long as you're serious about it, it's worth doing."

"Thanks, brother-in-law." Xiaoman beamed.

Xiaoyu was gentle and quiet, sometimes a little playful. Xiaoman, on the other hand, was lively and cheerful. If not for their resemblance, no one would guess they were sisters. But they did share one trait: when it came to love, both became adorably shy and flustered.

After chatting with Xiaoman, Chen Mo turned to Xiaoyu.

"Take tomorrow off. I already talked to Zhao Min. You don't need to go to work."

"Why? I feel fine," Xiaoyu said as she handed him a bowl of rice, puzzled.

"The wedding is coming up. Starting tomorrow, we'll begin the preparations."

"Okay," Xiaoyu nodded, her face lighting up. "Let's eat first—have more."

"Sis, I bet you're super excited, huh?" Xiaoman teased.

"You still can't stop talking even with a mouthful," Xiaoyu laughed, picking up a piece of meat and stuffing it into her sister's mouth. Her own smile was sweet and full of joy.

That night.

Xiaoyu nestled in Chen Mo's arms, scribbling names into a notebook. It was a list of friends and classmates to invite. Her face was filled with bliss—she was every bit the bride-to-be, glowing with happiness.

She was preparing for one of the most important days of her life, and the man beside her cherished and loved her deeply. Words couldn't express her joy.

She had already begun imagining the wedding scene.

"You, Xiaolan, and Ifei can be my bridesmaids, and I'll have my cousin too—that makes four. What about your side?" Xiaoyu looked up at Chen Mo.

"My high school seatmate, and a few buddies from my university dorm. Haven't seen them in a while. It'll be a good chance to catch up."

After they finished the list, Xiaoyu put down the notebook and quietly leaned into Chen Mo's arms.

"Why are you looking at your husband like that?" Chen Mo grinned mischievously as his hand wandered.

"Bad egg." Feeling his touch and his gaze, Xiaoyu blushed.

"How is this bad? It's the married life! Your husband's brain is under a lot of strain. He needs to relax. Studies have shown that a couple's intimacy reduces stress and improves mental health. Scientifically speaking, it's quite therapeutic.

Mathematically, it's a 1+1 > 2 situation. Chemically, we're entering a neutralization reaction—producing water and heat, and synthesizing a new 'substance.' Physically, it's relative motion—though according to relativity, if the speed is too high, some things may shrink. Biologically, this is the natural reproductive instinct of organisms.

So, if being bad helps me do good things, then bad it is."

"You're so full of nonsense."

Xiaoyu turned even redder but smiled through it. She gently wrapped her arms around him, twisted in his lap, and let down all her defenses. Her red lips brushed his cheek—a clear signal.

Before long, Xiaoyu had been fully embraced, both physically and emotionally.

Time passed softly.

Spring bloomed indoors. It was a perfect moment.

Early the next morning, Xiaoyu stirred from her dreams. Her lashes fluttered open, revealing clear, tender eyes. She leaned closer, inhaling Chen Mo's scent, her lips curling into a blissful smile.

Seeing he was still asleep, she quietly slipped into his arms like a lazy kitten.

"You're up early," Chen Mo murmured, pulling her close and enjoying her warmth. This was the only time he truly felt at peace, with no burdens on his mind.

"It's a habit," she whispered. "Mmm~ But I got worked so hard last night. I'm weak now. Let me sleep a bit more, okay?"

Xiaoyu swatted away his wandering hand, pouting like a spoiled child. She curled deeper into his chest, finally relaxing.

It was a rare chance to sleep in, and Chen Mo gladly joined her for a little more rest.

Half an hour later, Xiaoyu woke again. Chen Mo was still sleeping. She tiptoed out of bed, only to catch sight of the strawberry marks on her skin—memories of last night rushing back and making her cheeks glow.

After washing up, she headed downstairs to start breakfast.

"After breakfast, we'll head to a wedding planner," Chen Mo said over hot milk. "Mo Nu, pull up some info on the best wedding companies."

"Okay," Mo Nu replied. A holographic screen appeared, displaying listings for top wedding companies in the country.

"Xiaoman, want to come with us? You'll be going back to school soon—this is a good time to go out and have some fun."

"Yes! Please!" Xiaoman lit up.

She had been stuck at home while Chen Mo worked and Xiaoyu went to the company. It was getting boring. She couldn't wait to go out.

"Let's see… which one should we choose?" Chen Mo scrolled through the list with Xiaoyu.

Eventually, both their eyes landed on the same listing.

"This one."

They said in unison.

"Ack~! I'm being force-fed dog food first thing in the morning. Have mercy on a single lady's soul!" Xiaoman groaned in mock agony. But she was used to their sweet affection.

The company name caught her eye too.

Ten Miles of Red Makeup.

The name alone sounded poetic and romantic.

It was one of the most famous wedding companies in China, often handling celebrity weddings and elite clients. Their one-stop service fit their needs perfectly.

"Ten Miles of Red Makeup… poetic name, and they've got a branch here in the coastal city," Chen Mo said, nodding. "Let's go check them out."

After breakfast, once Xiaoyu and Xiaoman had changed clothes, Chen Mo left the villa with both of them.
