Konoha in the Roots
Danzo is finding it more difficult to even leave to get some fresh air, and if he leaves, his root which he had nurtured not only would he be publicly slandered but his root will be taken for questioning.
He felt as if the world is keeping him from becoming hokage and he couldn't handle and accept it.
And for the past few days he's been breaking more and more things in his office, he calmed down when he woke up from his short lived rage.
He was just going to sit down and wait for this large amount of hatred towards him and his root to slowly dissipate.
And within the shadows of his home and office some flicker's in the shadows could be seen if one were to look closely that is.
These flicker's were the shadow demons giving information back to one of vergil's lich's.
If the lich's had an emotional system they would constantly want to laugh while tearing up a bit while struggling to breathe.
In this situation.
But none of the news was important as danzo was just lying flat with some tantrums so the lich didn't need to report.
Yes vergil had put most of his effort on keeping an eye on danzo as he was mostly the cause of most wars, kidnappings and scheming.
He could just send raditz for a quick wipe of danzo but vergil doesn't want to change much of the timeline.
Due to the fact that both the toads of myōboku and 6 paths they will do everything in their power to stop it from changing.
He doesn't care what they think he just doesn't want to be thrown into a seal like kaguya.
Without a fight and he knows, that fighting them right now is practically an ant pumping up its fists towards an ant eater.

Both Minato and sarutobi hiruzan were speaking about what to do with danzo and hiruzan was always making up excuses for him.
This put Minato in a bad mood not understanding why his grand teacher was so hell bent on protecting this trash of society.
If he wanted to, he wanted to take anbu and completely wipe out both danzo and his roots.
But what hiruzan said is true he told him having in fighting would cause heavy causalities on both sides.
So minato thought of the approach, take in root members and interrogate them.
After capturing some and finding out that all of them had cursed seals on their tongue it became even more disgusting in Minatos mind.
In the land of grass (well if it's called that now).
A single merchant was wandering the world to sell his wares stumbled upon the village which had changed it's name.
He was standing outside the gate and looked inside which was bustling with people and giant looking robots around 1.5 meters tall.
When he started walking towards the inside of the village two of the robots standing guard turned their heads looking down at the merchant.
"State your.. business".
One of them said to the merchant, the merchant couldn't speak until the robot said again "state your business" this time it was sounding impatient.
The merchant was shaking and he immediately said "I'm here to sell my wares".
The two robots looked at each other then looked back at the merchant "enter"
The merchant who was shaking felt relieved and after getting his bearings he nodded and walked in.
After he arrived at the center of the village he was shocked he saw vehicles floating around carrying food and equipment to various places.
The merchant had no idea what they were when he was still walking around a little boy came over and said to the merchant.
"Hey mister what do you think of the emperor"
The merchant who was stopped from walking around just said "huh" and thought inwardly [emperor].
The boy said again but this time looking confused.
"Ermm what do you think about the emperor"
This time the merchant who had come back to his senses said "emperor, what emperor".
After he said this hundreds of eyes all turned towards him making him feel uncomfortable.
The boy just did the same like he was looking at something disgusting.
The merchant immediately said "I'm sorry I'm new here i don't know anything about an emperor".
While cold sweat was dripping down his back the eyes didn't turn away from him but became more intense.
The boy who asked this question and was looking at him strangely, begun to run away.
The merchant didn't know what was going on so he continued his walk to find a place to sell his wares after he found a spot, he placed down his goods and when he was about to start selling.
Two robots walking over towards him with the boy leading them and then pointed towards him the merchant felt something was wrong.
When the two robots stood in front of him he was shaking again he still didn't notice that eyes all around him were still staring at him intensely.
The two robots looked at the merchant and said "we heard that you don't know the emperor".
The merchant nodded not understanding why they sound like they wanted to beat him not until one of them grabbed his arm and said "you, your a damn heretic".
The merchant who was grabbed and picked up by the arm was screaming in pain.
And the other robot said "damn heretic if the doctrine is useless to you, then prepare for a immediate execution".
When he stopped screaming he looked at all the people around him and they all had fanatical looks and saying "all hail the emperor!".
