When they continued to check the surroundings they came across a weird looking creature it was about the same size as them holding a strange object while it was kicking the ground.

Minato and his squad stood there looking at this creature with a gas mask on and a weird triangle shaped armor.
When the creature heard a noise behind it, it jumped and started screaming and crying "aghh damn humans".
It immediately pointed the weapon in its hand fired at the anbu killing them instantly, minato was lucky if he hadn't used flying thunder god he'd have died with them just now.
Minato had no idea what this creature is using when he looked at his team and saw plasma like holes on their bodies his own body shuddered.
When he looked back at the creature it was walking cautiously towards the dead anbu, and he thought I should take advantage of it's blind spot.
When it arrived at the bodies, it started talking none stop then poking them.
Minato saw this as an opportunity to strike and activated flying thunder god when he got in front of the creature he was horrified while time was slowed down for him he had a good look at its appearance.
He had no time to think of it's appearance so he slashed at its throat.
The creature that was playing with the corpse's started choking and shooting it's plasma pistol every where hoping to catch him by a lucky hit.
But Minato was using his thunder god like crazy not wanting to be pulverized into a hole like his squad.
It didn't take long he had played the waiting game it had perished after 5 minutes of struggle.
Minato was shocked how the hell did this thing live for so long he came over and looked at the creature properly this time.
It had giant forearms, goggles and a gas mask it's skin looked like pieces of rock but before he could continue looking at it he heard a sound coming from its back.
It started glowing green then flew into the air and started spinning before exploding.
When it landed it let out a putrid smell it was the smell of methane.
It didn't take long, after the smell disappeared and making sure that the creature wouldn't do another spin he decided to take his squads headbands, then he looked at the creature.

Minato walking towards the village while dragging the creature he wasn't aware that orochimaru was staring greedily at the thing he was holding while he was in the dark.
He licked his lips with his giant tongue before deciding to wait and take it for research when they least expect it.
Minato who had arrived and put the creature on a table staring at the creature with the konoha's F3.
They didn't know that their shadows started flickering.
Vergil who was going over todays matters saw one of the lich's coming to him.
"Creator one of your creations has been killed and brought back to konoha".
Vergil who heard this immediately put on a screen and sighed in relief at what he was seeing [oh it was just a grunt].
Back at the room where Minato was they were speaking about how this grunt had completely wiped out his squad in seconds he then pulled out the object the grunt used.
It was a plasma pistol it can rip through armor and pretty much anything it touches from a single shot.
After all minato had a lot time to use it along the way and understood that it had a cooling period and can be charged while each shot had a kick to it, if he had to guess too it had a battery to sustain it.
After demonstrating it's destruction first hand, the F3 wanted to mass produce it but thought to themselves hasn't our best scientist already defected.
The two of the original F4 looked at hiruzan and hiruzan who saw this coughed lightly, "minato what else did you see at hoshigakure".
After minato finished explaining how the village looked the the three all looked at minato and frowned.
After they had this discussion hiruzan said to minato "you should put this weapon in a secure location id recommend the vault with forbidden techniques".
Late at night orochimaru who was slithering in his snake form arrived at the location where the grunt was he immediately gobbled it up and made a quick escape.
He was thinking about what to do and where his research would go with this grunt perhaps even understanding what the creature is.
When he arrived at one of his bases he started a thorough inspection and a quick splice it didn't take long for him to understand what the grunt needed to survive and how short it's lifespan is so he immediately became bored of researching the grunt.
