Livastin
Also known as the City of Love, peaceful, quiet and everyone has fun but the real fun begins in the night when it transforms into a red-light district,
"Wow, looks like a lively place, huh," said Yuta
'Seems to remind me of Kabukicho in Tokyo.'
'Home, huh? wonder how long I will keep staying in this estranged world'
Snapping back to reality, Yuta looked at Luna with a calm expression. "We depart for Livastin tomorrow at dawn."
"Yeah, the earlier, the better," Luna said, nodding in agreement.
Finding some food, Yuta hunted a boar, which Luna cooked for dinner. It has been so long since he had eaten real food.
"Maybe, food is not needed in the abyss once you are used to it," Yuta said, munching down the boar meat like it was the only thing in the world.
"Not really. you know you ate monster core when desperate right?" Luna fired back.
"Desperate times calls for desperate meals — in my defense," fired Yuta back.
The night was peaceful, almost as if the world was not but good.
Lying back to look at the stars, Yuta wondered in thoughts
"What are you thinking about?" Luna asked, lying down beside him.
"Nothing. Just wondering why the stars are so beautiful tonight", Yuta said, gazing at the stars
"You have not seen them since arriving," Luna said, standing to look at him.
"Nah, but I must say — they are beautiful," Yuta answered calmly.
The night ended in silence as both Yuta and Luna gazed at the stars.
Waking up early in the morning, Yuta and Luna freshened up and prepared for the journey ahead.
"It will take a day and a half if we don't stop anywhere", Luna said
"Hmmm…. and if we do stop, how long?" Yuta asked with a curious grin.
"Two whole days," Luna replied
"Okay,".
Creating spectral wings, Yuta soared into the skies as they embarked on their journey.
They flew for a couple of hours before deciding to rest under a shade.
"The sun is so hot today", Yuta said, cleaning the sweat off his face.
"Yeah, It is that time of the day when the Solar plexus burns hottest", Luna answered, resting beside Yuta.
"How much longer till we reach Livastin" Yuta asked.
"A few hours most but if we rest, almost another day", Luna answered.
"Okay, I think we should prioritize rest and move at night when the solar plexus is down" Yuta said, standing up.
"What will we do in the meantime?" Luna asked, clearly puzzled.
"We train" Yuta said with a smirk.
"Oh Boy."
They fought, trained and rested until the sun set down.
As the gentle breeze kicked once the sun set down, Yuta woke Luna up.
"Hmmm," Luna responded clearly still asleep.
Yuta said "Wake up, let's get moving," pushing Luna trying to wake her up.
"Two more minutes", Luna responded.
"I have had it with this nonsense," Yuta said aggravated.
As Luna still slept in peace, Yuta, with a lit determination under him, began tickling Luna startling Luna from her sleep
"Stop it, please!", Luna said, laughing loudly.
"No — not unless you promise to get up," Yuta said with a grin.
"Okay, Okay!".
When the quiet laughter ended, Luna got up
"You ready", Luna asked with a smirk
"Yeah", Yuta answered
They formed a spectral of wings and took to the skies one again
They flew and by dawn the next day, they reached their destination-----Livastin
Entering Livastin, Yuta stared at the people and place in awe, it was as clear as Luna had described, it looked so peaceful and was buzzing with excitement.
Loud music played as kids and men of age danced to the rhythm and beat of it
"Wow, this is really amazing", Yuta said amused
"Yeah", Luna answered
"I once came here with my master, that is why I know this place so well", Luna said bowing her head
Patting her head, Yuta spoke "That is nice, let's make memories here partner".
"Got it partner", Luna spoke smirking
"We should go look for a room to stay for the meantime", Luna said
"Sure"
Walking around, they stumbled upon the cabin called Tino tavern.
Upon entering inside, the place was bustling with people chattering as they waited for their meals and drinks to be served by the waiters.
As they approached the counter
"Welcome to Tino tavern, what do you need".
"We need a room to stay for some time," Luna said.
"How many rooms will that be"
"One room will suffice — one for me and my student here", Luna responded.
"Oh, come on lad! At least show your face — it is rude to not introduce yourself."
"Oh sorry", Yuta answered removing the cloak he used to cover his face.
"I am Yuta and I am pleased to meet your acquaintance, please what is your name?"
"I am Tino, owner of his fine tavern", Tino said with a grin.
"Concerning the room, it will cost you both 20 gold coins", Tino said with a smirk.
"Ummm, we have only no money on us, can we pay you back somehow", Luna said
"Hmmm, you get to stay here for free if your student can beat my son", Tino answered with a smirk.
"Who is he?" Yuta asked, genuinely curious.
As he stepped down the stairs, the room fell into pin-drop silence.
He was about Yuta's age, with hair as bright as the sun and piercing green eyes that gave him a mysterious aura. His build hinted at years of training.
He extended his hand towards Yuta, and as Yuta shook it, he pulled him in to whisper,
"I am Rin."
