Nira guided Ayesha to a private chamber where she would have a closed-door study session to learn new skills and knowledge. Meanwhile, Lyra was taken by Leila to another chamber with different tutors, all personally arranged by Alaric himself.
This had become their routine whenever Alaric was busy with court meetings and other matters.
Inside the study, Marla was already waiting. She greeted Ayesha politely. Ayesha took a seat, her eyes widening at the sight before her — scrolls, parchments, and thick manuscripts covered the table. She slowly looked around, her mouth slightly open at the shelves of books and documents lining the entire room.
Marla let out a light chuckle. "Don't worry, we'll take things slowly, one step at a time. I just keep everything here so that if you want to study on your own, you can choose freely. Think of it as our little library for now. You'll be even more overwhelmed once you see the grand library in the South Palace."
