Yu Yan took Ding Xian to her room and tucked her into bed with the help of a maid. After they were done the maid left the room and Yu Yan say on the bed close to Ding Xi'an.
"Sleep tight darling" Yu Yan said and pecked her on the forehead.
"Thanks mum" Ding Xian said and giggled, her mom was suddenly acting protective and caring.
"Should I sleep here tonight?" Yu Yan asked looking worried, she didn't want to take any risk and wasn't sure if Ding Xian could cope all alone
"Oh mum there's absolutely no reason for that. I can cope okay?" Ding Xian said finding her mum's character amusing. Sleep in her room? .
" I'm only worried.. you won't blame me" Yu Yan said and pouted her lips childishly.
"I understand mum oh my goodness you're actually behaving like a kid" Ding laughed hysterically, she had really missed her mum , she wouldn't be lying if she said that in her whole nineteen years of living this was the first time she saw her mum with such a childish expression.
"Hmoh you're really silly. Sleep well I'm leaving" Yu Yan said and left the room. Ding Xi'an sighed as she watched her mum leave the room. She sat on the bed swinging her legs around. She wondered how long she had to keep sitting on a wheelchair, she did not even have a plan on how to expose Feifei but one thing was for sure, she was going to expose her no matter what.

Lu Yichen was in his study room and had been busy since he returned from the fight with Wei Feng. He was waiting for Zhou Feng to call him as promised. Zhou Feng had promised to tell him about the her whereabouts if he accepts to return. He had left before after the death of his wife. He decided to stay away and live a normal human life.
Lu Yichen had his black cold eyes glued to a book , his black silky hair covered part of his eye. His eyes moved from point of the book to other with his legs crossed. Just then his phone rang and Lu Yichen picked the call.
"Hmm"
"Helloo... you left the scene without answering my questions?Why did you suddenly decide to return? Did you get something very exciting in return?" Nana spoke up from the other end.
"I don't have answers to your questions" Lu Yichen replied
"Well that's rude..I was expecting you to share with me. I mean I'm still your best friend right. You could at least just tell me" Nana said disappointed
"You sound really happy today for some months now you haven't called to check check up on me. Now that you suddenly care and called it seems like something good has happened" Lu Yichen said trying to change the topic
"Of course I forgot to tell you. You know Ding Xi'an right?" Nana said sounding really excited to share the good news
"No I don't. You've lived with so many people all your life and have told me about so many people. So it's had to recollect" Lu Yichen explained and leaned on the chair.
"Oh that's bad. Well there was someone I lost few months back but today she returned and all of a sudden she's nice to me. She really hated me before her disappearance" Nana explained recollecting how Ding Xian had treated her awfully in the past.
"Hmm" Lu Yichen replied, he wasn't really interested in Nana's story he had a lot on his head right now.
"That's all you've got to say?" Nana yelled angrily over the phone, he was just too emotionless she really wondered why she was still by his side.
"I'll call you back later. Take care" Lu Yichen said and hung up.
Lu Yichen closed the book and dropped the phone on the table. He was really eager to get a phone call from Zhou Feng . Could it be that Zhou Feng only lied to him?
