"I don't even know why I finished watching that movie. It just completely ruined my mood," Nina lamented, her head resting on Marcus' chest as he cuddled her.
"It's quite sad, but it's all fiction, you know?" Marcus retorted, caressing her long hair.
She sighed and sat up.
"Do you want to go to bed now? I will escort you again. I am sleepy as well." He checked his wrist and realized it was eight o'clock p.m.
"Let's go to bed, darling, so we can wake up early tomorrow for the activities."
Nina felt reluctant at his words. She didn't stand up but was still relaxing on the chair.
"Do you want to sleep with me here?" Marcus was a bit surprised at her action.
The movie they watched was quite a tearjerker, but she's fully aware that everything that happened there was scripted. Should she even let that bother her?
"Or do you prefer me to carry you to the room?" He bent and lifted her from the couch before she could open her mouth to respond.
