"What is rightfully yours indeed," Nina mimicked her with a scornful tone and chuckled lightly.
She exhaled a deep sigh and continued. "Marcus was never yours and will not be yours." Jada's eyelids raised in astonishment, but Nina wasn't ready to back down.
"Yes, he'd never be yours because you did not get him rightfully." She paused for some seconds.
"Well, I never did go back to Marcus, but it was the other way around - he's been the one pestering me. So that should let you know that he doesn't want you. You're just his spare fated mate until he finds someone he really wants and loves then he'd move on," Nina added.
The statement was like a bombshell thrown under Jada's stomach. She swallowed bitterly, knowing that she can't do anything in Nina's house due to multiple factors.
One, she would likely go to jail for fighting someone in her house.
