Ganshi was almost driven mad with rage.
He had injected Alux with enough anesthetic to knock out a dinosaur for an entire day. In previous tests, it guaranteed at least an hour of unconsciousness, and even with the antidote, it took at least a minute or two for the subject to regain consciousness. Never had it been under a minute.
But this time, Alux woke up immediately after the injection. Something was very wrong.
Clang—
The wide-open door behind them slammed shut, becoming a seamless metal wall and locking Alux back in the experimental platform below.
"You think that can hold me?!"
Alux's face was ferocious as he glared fiercely in the direction of the control room.
The control room's glass was one-way; those inside could see out, but those outside couldn't see in. Even though everyone inside knew he couldn't see them, they were still startled by his vicious gaze.
"What are you panicking for?"
Ganshi's expression was ugly as he said angrily, "This room is made of metal mixed with Seastone. We just need to lower the glass shutters to seal him off!"
"Damn it! He made a fool of me!"
Ganshi ground his teeth in fury. "Hurry! Release all the test subjects we have ready. Tear this bastard to shreds!"
"Understood, releasing S-46, the Great Ape!"

"The wolf pack, S-97, is also out!"

Spurred on by Ganshi's roar, the workers, despite their frantic movements, didn't slow down. Soon, all the enhanced monsters prepared for the tests were released.

Over a dozen black giant wolves, as big as bulls, had long antlers like a deer's on their heads. Their eyes were bloodshot, and disgusting drool dripped from their mouths.
A giant eagle with a wingspan of over five meters also had bloodshot eyes, and its black feathers had a strange metallic sheen.
A one-eyed giant tiger, over six meters long, had golden-colored fur all over its body.
And there was a monster resembling a centipede, seven or eight meters long, with a black shell, countless red, flat, long legs for movement, and two heads with ferocious mouthparts.
There were many more monsters like these. Their size and appearance were vastly different from ordinary beasts, birds, and insects. They almost filled the experimental platform below.
"Wow, Ganshi-san, this test is an eye-opener!"
In the control room, David looked at the monsters outside the window, his voice laced with curiosity.
Ganshi took a deep breath. "These guys were all manufactured from genes I meticulously engineered. Each one can easily kill thousands of their own kind..."
But his sentence was cut short as his face turned ashen again. In the monitor feed, the newly released monsters were not attacking Alux as he had intended. Instead, they were killing each other.
"Oh... damn it!"

"There are too many beasts. They can't tell who to attack anymore!"
"Alux is the strongest. The enhanced beasts can sense that, so they're choosing to attack the weak and are leaving Alux alone!"

Suddenly, the experimental platform was filled with blood and gore. The constant roars and screams made everyone else turn pale.
However, after a while, when the monsters became blinded by their rage, a few of the bull-sized black wolves began to lose track of who was stronger and charged at Alux.

"Die!"
Alux roared like a beast, throwing a powerful punch that instantly blew the head off a charging giant wolf. Blood, brains, and shattered skull fragments splattered everywhere.
In the next moment, the other giant wolves seemed as weak as rabbits in front of Alux. He killed them all in a few moves and even tore the tail off the eight-eyed python.
Haaaa...
Alux let out a breath and turned his gaze toward the control room, his eyes becoming even more malevolent.
He then picked up a section of the eight-eyed python's tail from the ground. It was over three meters long. He threw it toward the control room like a stone, and it flew so fast that it made a whooshing sound as it sliced through the air.
"Watch out!"
David's eyes narrowed. He quickly dodged to the side and pulled the stunned Ganshi behind a metal wall with him.
Bang!
In an instant, the three-meter-long snake tail, like a giant cannonball, slammed into the control room's window, shattering the high-strength tempered glass that could withstand even high-caliber guns.
The three-meter-long tail crashed into the control room, and countless pieces of shattered glass flew everywhere, destroying the machines inside and causing sparks to fly.
"Is he throwing cannonballs?!"
Ganshi was both shocked and enraged. He roared in a panicked voice, "Quick! Close the window..."
Whoosh!
Right after, another black shadow shot through the window, creating a powerful gust of wind with its immense speed.
"Oh no, another one!"
"Damn it!"
"Hide!"
"..."
Everyone was startled and scrambled to get out of the way.
Thump!
But to their surprise, the black shadow landed on the floor and stood up.
Hiss...
Someone saw who it was and gasped in fright. "'Ant King' Alux!"
That's right, the one who had entered was none other than Test Subject 13, Alux.
"GANSHI!!!"
The moment Alux saw Ganshi, his eyes turned bloodshot. He lost all control of his emotions and charged at Ganshi without hesitation.

David of the CP0 suddenly stepped forward. He pulled Ganshi behind him with one hand and raised his other. A large mass of translucent glass gushed from his palm, quickly filling the rectangular window and forming a thick, transparent glass wall.

The next second, Alux's fist slammed into the glass wall. The immense force shook the entire control room, and a powerful gust of wind exploded outwards, spreading in all directions and knocking over all the staff.
