The next morning, as everyone was ready, Gaia said, "Where are you all going?"
Liebe said, "We have to return to class."

As they all reached the academy, Liebe, Licht, and M went to Professor Obsidian's office. As Liebe knocked on the door, Obsidian said, "Come in."
Liebe said, "Hello, sir."
Obsidian said, "Oh, you all are alive?"
Liebe said, "Unfortunately, it seems so."
Obsidian said, "And where were you?"
Liebe said, "We were deployed and busy and stuff. Sooooooo, can we join classes as 3rd years?"
Obsidian said, "No."
Liebe said, "Please, sir, pretty please."
Obsidian said, "You got any recommendation letter?"
Liebe said, "Yeah." As he gave the letter from Lilith.
Obsidian said, "And who is this from?"
Liebe said, "Captain Lilith."
Obsidian said, "Ok." As he removed the seal and took the letter from the envelope and just ripped it to pieces.
Liebe said, "Sooooo, can we please?"
Obsidian said, "Sure, get to classes, you three. And everyone else, you are in second year, including the Gaia kid."
Licht said, "Wait, then, sir, why did you rip the letter?"
Obsidian said, "Because I find her quite and very annoying to talk to."

As they left and started class, M and Licht were in class III-C, while Liebe, Alysa, Hedin, and Lumos were in class III-B.
As Liebe seated next to Lumos, the student beside Hedin said, "Hey, Liebe."

Liebe said, "Oh crap."
The professor said, "Good morning."
Lumos whispered, "By the way, Liebe, this is Professor Rayleigh Blacks. He is a pure asshole, and he is everything we stand against."
Rayleigh said, "Mr. Abel, Hedin, and Liebe, get out."
Liebe said, "Umm, sorry, sir, for talking."
Rayleigh said, "Leave."
Liebe said, "We promise to be quiet during class."
Rayleigh said, "Leave, or else I will have to mark you for disobedience. I will not have any half-breed in my class."
Liebe said, "Even as a professor, you can't discriminate like this, especially to half-breeds."
Rayleigh said, "You dare, half-breed, talk back to me?"
Liebe said, "No, the Acting Captain of Black Rose is asking you."
Rayleigh said, "Captain Lilith may be delusional to make a half-breed an acting captain, but I'm not."
Liebe said, "Say that again, and I will send you to whatever the hell god you worship."
Rayleigh said, "Leave, or else."
Hedin said, "Liebe, please."
Liebe said, "Fine. I will play your game for now." As they left class.
