He let me redo my deck before leaving his office.
Professor Sphinx led me upstairs to where a large gaming area was. It seemed like the third bus of the day had arrived. At least three dozen students stood around a single table where two players played against each other.
By the time Sphinx and I reached the table, the game was done. "Impossible!" the loser shouted. "Your deck is way too strong!"
The winner didn't give any reply. He just shuffled his deck and asked, "Who's next?"
Before anyone could reply, Sphinx placed a hand on my shoulder. "This young man would like to play you, Indie."
Indie had long blonde hair and pale blue eyes. He had a sharp nose, but other than that, he would be considered handsome. He was dressed in fine clothes. I got the feeling that he was the son of somebody important.
Arthur rolled his eyes. "And who is this? Some big eyed rookie you're trying to throw at me. I bet he hasn't even played very long."
"You're actually correct Indie. Aegon here has only played for two months."
Everyone gasped. They all looked like rich kids with parents who always bought them the best cards in the meta.
Indie gave a great sigh. "Fine. Take a seat so I can get this over with. I want to get back to my dorm as soon as possible."
I looked at Sphinx. He gave me a subtle nod.
I took a seat across from Indie and began my first game at Runeg Skil.
