Clementine:
Yorick avoided eye contact like a guilty cult leader.
He explained everything to us, telling us what the truth was and what we should have done to detach the North for some time.
"Then why did you lie to them?" Troy asked again.
We were all sitting in a circle on the living room floor. We had just finished breakfast.
"Because I don't want you all to stay here," Yorick replied. "This is our problem. It's not your problem. It was created by my family."
He rubbed his face with both hands.
"I know everyone's families took part," he continued. "But my family was the main one that created the monsters. If they hadn't made them, none of this would have started."
He answered aggressively while still dragging his hands down his face.
Mariana quickly began rubbing his back, showing her support.
Watching them like that made me feel relieved. At least now they were not alone.
