Clementine:
When everything returned to me, I lost my mind. I began to realize that some of the things done to me could have been avoided.
I broke down with Ian. We sat together on the bench, alone, while the others wandered around us, talking among themselves.
Memories returned slowly. I began to understand that my other mates had found their partners, and I was genuinely happy for them.
Then I remembered Yorick. Rage surged through me.
"I'm going to kill him," I muttered, lifting my head from Ian's chest and looking straight into his eyes.
His jaw clenched. It was a clear sign he was on board with my mission.
"And I will be right beside you," he vowed, his fists tightening.
I turned my head and saw Leysa and Troy approaching us. Haiden and Fauna followed close behind.
"Are you okay now?" Haiden asked.
My eyes shifted to Troy. He moved slightly behind Haiden, trying to avoid my gaze.
