It was then that they suggested I go through another rejection, like they were claiming.
I stayed in my seat and watched them, noticing the tears on my cheeks. Why the fuck had I been crying a few minutes ago? I couldn't remember.
What the fuck was this place? Who were these people? And who was the handsome guy sitting right next to me?
Why the fuck was he staring at me like I belonged to him?
"I'm tired," I muttered, letting them decide what to do.
At this point, I wasn't going to throw a tantrum and assume they were trying to hurt me. It was obvious they cared about me and that something was wrong.
They were trying to figure it out. Instead of making it harder or forcing them to chase after me, I stayed seated and let them find a solution.
"It doesn't seem like Haiden wants to reject her," one of the girls spoke up.
She looked timid and tilted her head to the side, her expression open as she glanced at the bulky, muscled man nearby.
