The Grand Elder's expression was complicated.
Back in the day, Wan Dao had already been a peerless genius. His original world's spatial Laws weren't very advanced. When he first came to the Void Mirage World, his mastery of space was far below the Grand Elder's.
But decades passed. Eventually, he caught up.
And now, a thousand years later. Wan Dao's spatial mastery probably far surpasses his own.
Wan Dao would be one thing. At least he shared the same spatial body.
But his disciple?
She wasn't a spatial body, and she had no prior foundation in any spatial Laws.
And yet, within a single hour, she completed a path he had taken for ten thousand years.
Wan Dao, oh Wan Dao! What kind of insane luck did you have?
Just picking a random successor, and they end up being this kind of freak!
The Grand Elder looked at Yun Jin helplessly and said, "I don't really have anything to guide you on."
Not to mention her mastery wasn't even of these three Laws. No one among them could grasp the Void Rend Law, so guidance was impossible. Some of them understood Spatial Scaling and Spatial Scan, but their mastery didn't even compare to Yun Jin's.
So what's there to guide?
The Grand Elder gritted his teeth, worried that Yun Jin would look down on their world, and said, "But I can systematically explain some of the categories of spatial Laws we've summarized. If you know them, you'll have a clearer direction when you study spatial Laws in the future."
Yun Jin's eyes lit up, and she nodded eagerly. A macro overview of the Primordial Space was exactly the knowledge she needed right now.
The Grand Elder sat cross-legged on a pile of rubble and began explaining.
"These insights were painstakingly explored and passed down by generations of cultivators in the Void Mirage World. But our world is only a small world, so I can't claim we've discovered all the categories of spatial Laws. After all, this is a Supreme Primordial Force. Even gods can't fully comprehend it."
Yun Jin nodded, understanding.
"In the Void Mirage World, spatial Laws are roughly divided into three types. The first type is the teleportation category. These focus on traversing worlds and shifting space. For example, I've mastered a spatial Exchange Law. Using this, I can select someone and swap positions with them."
As the Grand Elder spoke, the Law's power flowed, and she and Yun Jin instantly swapped places.
The Grand Elder said softly, "I'm just a beginner with this Law, so the range is limited to what I can see. If I cultivate it to a high level, I could probably swap positions with Wan Dao with a thought. Every spatial Law can become a divine technique. It all depends on how well the user masters it."
Yun Jin nodded thoughtfully.
"Additionally, teleportation arrays and instant-move spells fall under the teleportation category."
The Grand Elder paused, "Once a cultivator reaches the Mahayana stage, they can control short-range teleportation. This is a gift from the Heavenly Dao to Mahayana cultivators. They can use the spell, understanding its effect, but not its essence. Only those who truly master the Law of Teleportation can traverse countless small worlds in an instant."
Yun Jin's eyes flickered. After touching the Supreme Primordial Force, she suddenly realized that her system already controlled some space-time Laws. The Mission Hall's teleport function was actually an application of spatial Law.
"The second type is the support category. For example, the Spatial Scan and Spatial Scaling you use. Others include Spatial Penetration, Spatial Fluctuation, and Spatial Auditory-Visual Perception.
The third type is the attack and defense category. For example, your Void Rend and the spatial shield I just used.
These three categories each have many subcategories. Currently, the recorded spatial Laws in the Void Mirage World number up to twenty-one. Mastering each one requires a lifetime of study."
At that thought, the Grand Elder sighed. Spatial Laws are unimaginably vast. Even after endless effort, they'd only grasped a fraction.
She truly didn't know…
Who in the future could ever reach the end of such a Supreme Primordial Force?
The Grand Elder's eyes flickered. Most of them were likely hopeless. Only a prodigy like Yun Jin might even hold a shred of hope.
"All the specifics are in this jade scroll. You can study it at your own pace," the Grand Elder said, handing over the scroll.
Yun Jin thanked him and carefully put it away.
The elders exchanged glances, their expressions becoming somewhat unusual. After all the small talk, it was time to get down to business, but they felt a little awkward.
Yun Jin spoke considerately, "Have the Senior decided whether to cooperate with the Vast Azure World? If our worlds can cooperate, I'll make sure to thank you on behalf of countless beings there."
Yun Jin was beautiful and spoke so gracefully.
The elders immediately relaxed.
The Grand Elder smiled, "We do intend to cooperate with the Vast Azure World. We hope both sides can quickly work out the details."
Yun Jin nodded and spent the entire night discussing and finalizing the arrangements with the elders.
Afterward, everyone got busy. The Space Society announced the cooperation to the entire Void Mirage World, and Yun Jin brought in Qin Ping and Hong Ye to manage the liaison.
Both sides were committed, and everything proceeded smoothly.
Yun Jin soon established a branch in the Void Mirage World, spent some Emotional Value, and built a sub-hall for the Mission Hall there.
The Grand Elder and a few others were the first to try it out.
They eagerly accepted their first mission and teleported to the Vast Azure World. Tasks below B-rank posed no difficulty, and they quickly returned to the hall. Having actually traversed worlds, they all wore ecstatic smiles. This spatial journey gave them much insight.
The Grand Elder even gained ideas for future research.
Yun Jin's SSS mission was quickly marked complete. The rewards were abundant, though she was slightly disappointed that no Dao Fruit was included.
But Dao Fruit was rare and cannot be forced. Getting two was already Heaven-sent luck. She couldn't ask for more.
Yun Jin stayed a while in the Void Mirage World, overseeing as the inter-world exchanges took root. She then went to the Spirit Beast World and, as promised, brought back several spirit beasts.
Afterward, she returned to the Celestial Divine Palace.
The alliance of the three small worlds—the Spirit Beast World, Void Mirage World, and Vast Azure World—was initially formed.
Of course, their combined strength was still far from enough to face the Polar Night Demon World.
Less than four years remained until the Sky City opened.
In these four years, she had to visit the Polar Night Demon World and try to track down Master Wan Dao, ideally rescuing him.
Time was short, and the tasks were heavy.
In the Celestial Divine Palace, Yun Jin activated the Heaven-Devouring Soul Codex she had learned from that day. The cultivation technique could theoretically only be practiced by the devouring demons, but the system simplified it, allowing Yun Jin to master it.
She now converted all her spiritual power into surging demonic energy through the Codex.
The technique, combined with the all-encompassing nature of the Yin Yang Codex, made the demonic energy she produced flawless, giving no hint of abnormality.
Even if she were a devouring demon, not even the Devouring Demon God could detect it.
